We are currently preparing for product launch and are looking for a Finance Lead to join our team and take ownership of the financial side of the business as we move from building to launching and scaling.
This isn’t a role where you’ll simply be handed tasks and expected to complete them. We’re looking for someone who can take ownership, build systems from scratch, ask the right questions, identify what needs to be done, and proactively put structures in place.

* Manage and maintain accurate financial records, accounts and documentation.
* Track company income, expenses, payments and cash flow.
* Develop and maintain budgets, financial forecasts and basic financial models.
* Prepare regular financial reports and provide clear financial insights to the founders.
* Support financial planning around our product launch and future growth.
* Research relevant grants, funding opportunities and other sources of startup capital.
* Support grant applications, fundraising preparations and investor financial requirements.
- Establish simple, effective financial systems and processes as the company grows.
* Monitor spending, identify financial risks and recommend ways to manage resources effectively.

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised and comfortable operating in an early-stage environment.
You should:
* Have experience in finance, accounting, financial management or a related field.
* Have a good understanding of bookkeeping and financial reporting.
* Be comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial tools.
* Understand budgeting, cash flow and financial forecasting.
* Be highly organised and detail-oriented.
* Be comfortable working with limited information and ambiguity.
* Have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Be able to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance people.
You’d Be a Great Fit If…
* You’ve worked with an early-stage startup or growing business before.
* You’ve helped build financial systems from the ground up.
* You have experience with grants, startup funding or fundraising.
* You understand what investors typically expect to see from an early-stage company’s financials.
* You can take a messy financial process and turn it into a clear, organised system.
* You don’t need someone constantly checking in to know what needs to be done.
* You’re comfortable saying, “This is missing, here’s what I think we should do.”
