As the Finance Manager, you will be accountable for delivering short and long-term business results across all product lines and sales channels, with a blend of responsibilities across financial planning and analysis (“FP&A”), commercial finance, and supply chain finance. You’ll work closely with Marketing, Sales, and other cross-functional partners and will gain experience in owning an entire P&L while building and executing a financial plan to support the next phase of growth for So Good So You. This includes proactively supporting the business with leadership on forecasting, financial analysis and reporting, product innovation, industry landscape assessment, pricing and competitiveness management, trade strategy, scenario planning, process improvements, and much more.

Partner with cross functional teams to create and own the entirety of P&L forecasts

Communicate financial results with action-oriented insights

Drive P&A and reporting efforts through strategic planning, budgeting, and long-range financial initiatives

Develop and support business plans to drive profitable and sustainable growth

Prepare forward looking financial modeling and investment decision analysis

Provide external perspective on customers, suppliers, competitors, and the industry

Identify and pursue opportunities and capabilities that deliver against the business model and strategy

Partner with cross functional department leads to fuel collaborative budgeting and performance-driven initiatives.

Continuously improve by simplifying processes, reducing manual work, strengthening controls, and improving the quality and timeliness of financial information.

Lead by doing, providing direction and coaching to cross functional partners while remaining actively involved in day-to-day execution, problem solving, and critical deliverables.

You have experience in building processes and procedures

You can lead & influence internal and external teams to deliver results through clear, concise communication

You are momentum and results-oriented

You display a high level of curiosity, proactiveness and creative resourcefulness that helps solve problems, connects the dots and guides smart decision making

You don’t know everything, but you are confident in your ability to learn almost anything

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field

5+ years of progressive experience

Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders through effective communication

Track record of being accurate and detail oriented

Demonstrated ability to be proactive, respond quickly, and smoothly adjust to changes

Able to establish processes, make process improvements, and effectively organize own work

Experience using ERP systems to identify and extract the right data to provide meaningful analysis and insights

Ability to prioritize tasks to meet expected goals within stated timeframes

Ability to work in a hands-on environment and work across functional groups

Knowledge of finance, accounting, and cost accounting principles

Demonstrated leadership, decision making, and problem-solving skills

Exceptional verbal and written communications skills

In accordance with Minnesota's Pay Transparency Law (effective January 1, 2025), the salary range for this position is $100,000 - $120,000, with hired candidates potentially eligible for an annual bonus on top of base.
