Role Description The Finance Specialist is a full-time, remote role responsible for supporting the financial operations and analysis that enable Insight Genesis – IGAi to scale effectively. Day-to-day responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting financial statements, monitoring cash flows, and assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. The Finance Specialist will collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights for product initiatives, pricing strategies, and market expansion, especially in emerging and unbanked markets. The role also involves maintaining accurate accounting records, supporting compliance with internal controls and relevant regulations, and preparing clear financial reports for leadership. This position requires strong analytical capabilities, an ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance stakeholders, and a proactive approach to improving financial processes.

• Strong foundation in Finance, including experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Proficiency in Accounting practices and standards, with the ability to maintain accurate and compliant records.
• Ability to analyze Financial Statements and other financial reports to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Advanced Analytical Skills for interpreting complex data, building models, and supporting strategic decisions.
• Clear and professional Communication skills to convey financial insights to technical and non-technical team members.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are a plus.
• Experience in fintech, AI-driven platforms, or emerging markets is beneficial.
• Comfort working independently in a remote environment, with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency with financial software, spreadsheets, and data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, BI tools).
