About Medihive

Medihive is Ireland's longest-standing telehealth provider and a Deloitte Fast 50 company, built on deep clinical and technical expertise. Backed by leading private and institutional investors, we have recently raised capital to accelerate our growth in digital healthcare. We have a big vision, and we're just getting started.

The role

This newly created role will lead the transformation of how our finance function operates, making the most of automation and AI. You will deliver a programme of projects including purchase order, accounts payable and expense automation, and integration between our sales platform and accounting system, working with Finance, Commercial, Operations, IT and external partners. You will also support the Financial Accountant and FP&A function during busy periods, providing cover across key finance processes.

The role will suit a highly organised finance professional with strong NetSuite experience and a proven track record of implementing finance systems, automation and process improvements.

Key responsibilities

Project delivery

  • Lead finance transformation and automation projects from requirements through to implementation and post-implementation review.
  • Manage project plans, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues, escalating where appropriate.
  • Coordinate user acceptance testing, data migration and system configuration, ensuring solutions meet business requirements before go-live.
  • Develop training materials, support roll-out to Finance and wider business users, and ensure clear handover and ownership after each project.
  • Provide regular updates to the Senior Finance Manager on progress, risks and key decisions, and coordinate with internal stakeholders, system providers and implementation partners.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of new systems and processes following implementation and identify further opportunities for improvement.

NetSuite

  • Act as Finance project lead and super-user for NetSuite developments, enhancements and integrations.
  • Support configuration, workflows, reporting and troubleshooting, ensuring Finance requirements are reflected in system development.

Process redesign and continuous improvement

  • Map current and future-state processes to identify manual, duplicated or inefficient work and opportunities for automation and AI.
  • Redesign processes to be efficient, scalable and well controlled, building appropriate controls into automated workflows.
  • Maintain clear process documentation and standard operating procedures.
  • Monitor new systems and processes after implementation and identify further improvements.

Finance team support

  • Support the Financial Accountant and FP&A function at month-end, year-end, audit and other peak periods, including balance sheet reconciliations where required.
  • Build a strong understanding of the wider finance function to provide cross-cover and business continuity.

About you

Essential

  • Strong practical NetSuite experience, ideally including workflows, configuration, reporting, integrations or implementation.
  • Experience applying AI tools to finance processes, workflows or reporting.
  • A solid understanding of finance processes and how technology can improve efficiency and control.
  • Excellent organisational skills and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong Excel and general systems skills.
  • Curious and practical, comfortable challenging existing processes, and able to take ownership and drive projects forward independently in a remote environment.

Desirable

  • Finance automation experience in a SaaS, technology or high-growth business.

  • Experience with AP automation, expense management or procurement platforms.
