We're looking for a Finance & Treasury Manager to lead our Management Accounting and Treasury teams, ensuring accurate financial reporting, strong financial controls and effective cashflow management across the UK business.

Reporting to the Director of Accounting, Tax & Finance Operations, this is a high-impact leadership role at the heart of our Finance function. You'll oversee trading accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, billing statements and treasury forecasting, while driving continuous improvement across key finance processes.

Working closely with finance and operational leaders, you'll provide the insight, governance and control needed to support business performance while leading and developing a high-performing team.

If you're a qualified finance leader with strong people management experience and a passion for continuous improvement, we'd love to hear from you.

What you'll be serving up…

  • Leading and developing high-performing teams, providing direction, coaching and support while creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Owning key management accounting processes, ensuring site trading accounts are produced accurately and on time in line with contractual terms and Group reporting requirements.
  • Reviewing and analysing divisional performance, providing insight into site P&Ls, divisional costs and key financial trends.
  • Producing and reviewing agreed financial metrics, helping monitor team performance and support decision-making.
  • Maintaining strong financial controls, ensuring balance sheet postings and reconciliations are accurate, fully documented and appropriately governed.
  • Managing client reporting and billing processes, ensuring billing statements and supporting reports are completed accurately and issued through agreed channels.
  • Identifying and escalating financial risk, highlighting areas of concern and supporting timely resolution.
  • Acting as the UK business process owner for site financial returns and data capture processes, ensuring business continuity throughout the month-end close process.
  • Leading the Treasury function, managing treasury activities, banking relationships and Group reporting requirements.
  • Managing cashflow forecasting, working capital modelling and treasury forecasting, ensuring accurate reporting in line with Group requirements.
  • Driving automation and process improvement, enhancing controls, efficiencies and bank reconciliation processes.
  • Supporting wider business initiatives, contributing to finance projects, change programmes and ad hoc activities.
  • Developing future finance talent, mentoring finance apprentices and supporting their successful progression.

The ingredients you'll bring...

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification, with significant experience leading a management accounts function or large accounting team.
  • Strong people leadership skills, with a track record of developing teams and improving performance.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  • Management accounting expertise, including producing, reviewing and analysing financial information within a complex organisation.
  • Treasury and cashflow management experience, including forecasting, working capital management and banking relationships.
  • Strong financial control mindset, with exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • SAP FICO and/or SAP S/4HANA knowledge, with confidence working across finance systems and processes.
  • Strong Excel skills, with the ability to analyse large volumes of data and produce meaningful business insight.
  • Experience in a multi-site environment, is desirable, particularly within a complex operational business.
  • An agile and organised approach, able to manage competing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
  • A collaborative mindset, with a flexible, proactive approach and passion for continuous improvement.

What success looks like

You'll be someone who continuously looks for ways to improve processes, strengthen controls and deliver accurate, timely financial reporting. You'll build strong relationships across the business, maintain robust governance and support an efficient month-end close process.

You'll champion best practice, keep process documentation up to date, promote efficient ways of working and bring enthusiasm, professionalism and attention to detail to everything you do.
