12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

We're partnering with a growing international business to recruit a Financial Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified accountant to take ownership of financial accounting, reporting and compliance across multiple European entities within a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Reporting into senior finance leadership, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, supporting month-end close activities, managing statutory and tax requirements, and driving continuous improvements across the finance function. This role offers broad exposure across the UK and European operations and would suit an ambitious individual looking to make a tangible impact within an international business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end financial accounting and reporting process for UK and European entities.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs.
  • Lead month-end activities, including general ledger reconciliations and close processes.
  • Oversee cash management, payroll and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with VAT and other indirect tax reporting requirements.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities across the region.
  • Coordinate year-end reporting and external audit requirements.
  • Drive process improvements, reporting enhancements and finance best practices.

About You

  • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
  • Strong financial accounting experience within a multi-entity environment.
  • Experience preparing management accounts and month-end reporting.
  • Good understanding of VAT and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Advanced Excel skills and a strong attention to detail.
  • Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Continuous improvement mindset and a desire to drive efficiencies.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business.

Why Apply?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join an international organisation where you'll gain exposure across multiple European markets while taking ownership of a broad and varied accounting role. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, contribute to key business decisions and have the opportunity to make a real impact within a supportive and forward-thinking finance team.

Due to the high volume of applications, we are unable to respond individually to every candidate. If you do not hear from us within 10 working days, please assume your application has not been successful on this occasion. Thank you for your interest.
