Role Description The Financial Advisor role at Leadway is a full-time hybrid position based in Lagos, with a mix of on-site and work-from-home arrangements. The Financial Advisor will provide tailored financial guidance to individual and corporate clients, helping them develop and implement comprehensive financial plans aligned with their goals and risk profiles. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing clients’ financial situations, recommending appropriate insurance, investment, and retirement planning solutions, and monitoring portfolios and policies to ensure ongoing suitability. The role involves preparing financial proposals and reports, conducting regular review meetings, and collaborating with internal teams across insurance, pensions, and asset management to deliver integrated solutions. The Financial Advisor will also stay current on market trends, regulatory changes, and product offerings, and support business development through client acquisition, relationship management, and referrals.

Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning to design comprehensive, long-term strategies for diverse clients.
- Candidates should have solid Finance and Investments expertise to analyze options, manage risk, and recommend suitable portfolios.
- Candidates should demonstrate experience in Financial Advisory, including client needs assessment, solution recommendation, and ongoing relationship management.
- Relevant academic background in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CFP, or local equivalents) are an advantage.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging a wide range of clients.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple client engagements, and use digital tools and CRM platforms to track activities and performance.
- Knowledge of Nigerian financial markets, regulatory environment, and insurance and pension products; prior experience in financial services or advisory roles is highly beneficial.
