We're hiring a Financial Controller (Remote anywhere from Pakistan) About the client Company: Our client company is the top listed studios that working in AR and VR. About the role: We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Financial Controller with hands-on experience managing UK and UAE taxation, VAT, and financial compliance. The ideal candidate will oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and efficiency across multi-region entities. Key Responsibilities: Lead all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT, corporate tax, and UK tax regulations. Prepare consolidated financial statements across UK and UAE entities. Manage audits and coordinate with external auditors, banks, and tax advisors. Oversee month-end and year-end closings with a focus on accuracy and deadlines. Develop and maintain internal financial controls and accounting policies. Monitor cash flow, expenses, and financial performance. Provide actionable financial insights to support strategic decision-making. Requirements: Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, or CMA) is highly preferred. 15+ years of experience in finance or accounting, with exposure to both UK and UAE financial frameworks. In-depth understanding of VAT, corporate tax, and cross-border financial compliance. Proficiency in accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books, or ERP platforms). Strong analytical and leadership skills with attention to detail.
