About Us

Bettervits is one of the fastest-growing DTC supplement brands in the UK, with an expanding presence in the US and ambitions to become a global leader in health and wellness.

As part of a wider group generating over nine figures in annual turnover, we've built a substantial customer base through our own DTC channels, marketplaces, and retail partnerships.

We're a profitable, fast-growing business with big ambitions. We operate with speed, give people real ownership, and expect high standards. No unnecessary layers of management, just talented people making things happen.

Role Overview

We're looking for an experienced Finance Director to take ownership of the financial strategy, commercial performance, and finance operations at Bettervits. This is not a traditional finance role focused purely on accounting and reporting. We want someone who understands the numbers behind a high-growth DTC business and knows how to use them to make better commercial decisions.

You'll lead financial planning, forecasting, cash flow management, and reporting, while working closely with our growth and retention teams on customer economics, LTV/CAC modelling, and profitability.

You'll work directly with the founders and have significant influence over how we allocate capital, manage profitability, and approach our next stage of growth.

What You'll Be Responsible For

  • Financial Strategy & Planning: Own budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, financial reporting, and long-term financial planning, ensuring we have the visibility and controls needed to scale profitably.
  • LTV/CAC & Customer Economics: Build and maintain detailed financial models covering customer lifetime value, acquisition costs, subscription cohorts, retention, contribution margins, and payback periods to guide marketing investment and growth decisions.
  • Commercial Finance & Profitability: Work closely with marketing, e-commerce, retail, and supply chain teams to understand profitability by channel, product, and market, identify opportunities to improve margins, and make better capital allocation decisions.
  • Finance Operations: Oversee management accounts, financial controls, working capital, inventory, tax coordination, and reporting, while improving the systems and processes behind the finance function.
  • Fundraising & Corporate Finance: Support potential external fundraising, private equity investment, acquisitions, and exit opportunities, including financial modelling, valuations, investor materials, due diligence, and transaction preparation.
  • Leadership & Business Partnering: Build and lead a strong finance team, working directly with founders and senior management to challenge assumptions, evaluate opportunities, and ensure financial decisions support the wider business strategy.

What We're Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Finance Director, Head of Finance, or senior finance leader within a high-growth DTC, e-commerce, subscription, or consumer goods business.
  • Strong financial modelling skills, particularly around LTV/CAC, customer cohorts, subscription economics, contribution margins, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
  • A commercial mindset with a strong understanding of paid acquisition, customer retention, inventory, working capital, cash flow, and the economics of scaling a consumer brand.
  • Experience owning financial planning, management reporting, budgeting, and financial operations within a business generating significant revenue, ideally across multiple channels or markets.
  • Good understanding of corporate finance, valuations, capital structures, and investment processes, with exposure to fundraising, private equity, M&A, or business exits.
  • Someone who is analytical, hands-on, commercially minded, and comfortable working directly with founders in a fast-moving business. Able to get into the detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.

Bonus

  • Direct involvement in a private equity transaction, institutional fundraising round, acquisition, or business exit, including due diligence and investor presentations.
  • Experience working in a PE-backed or investor-backed consumer business, with an understanding of EBITDA growth, cash generation, and enterprise value creation.
  • Experience with subscription-led DTC brands and advanced cohort-based LTV modelling.
  • Experience managing finance across the UK and US, including international reporting and multi-entity structures.
  • Familiarity with Shopify, Amazon, TikTok Shop, Xero, NetSuite, and business intelligence tools.
  • ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification, ideally with previous experience in corporate finance, transaction advisory, or a high-growth commercial environment.

Why Join Us?

  • Competitive senior-level compensation package with performance-based incentives.
  • Join a rapidly growing, profitable business within a group generating over nine figures in annual turnover.
  • Real ownership of the finance function, with direct access to founders and involvement in major commercial decisions.
  • Opportunity to play a key role in future fundraising, acquisitions, investment opportunities, and potential exit transactions.
  • Fully remote role with a high level of autonomy and minimal bureaucracy.
  • Significant long-term growth opportunities as Bettervits continues to expand internationally.
