Financial Director (Voluntary) (Irish based)

Role Description

This is a voluntary remote role for a Financial Trustee (volunteer) at Nature Network Ireland. The Financial Trustee will be responsible for overseeing the management of accurate financial records, reporting to the board, reviewing financial systems to ensure good practice and working with the company's bookkeeper. This is a remote position

Qualifications

• Financial management skills such as budgeting and financial reporting.
• Knowledge of PAYE
• Excellent organisational and communication skills; oversee accurate financial records, report to the board, review financial systems to ensure good practice, and work skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely
• Familiarity with not-for-profit financial management is a plus
• The role may suit someone who has knowledge and skills in financial management. The company has an accountant. Training opportunities are available to update you on NGO financial reporting requirements and join an enthusiastic team committed to the common purpose of nature protection and conservation.
