Flooring Specialist

SMARTSOURCING USA is seeking a qualified Flooring Specialist to support the training and development of aspiring flooring estimators and construction professionals. This is a contractor role for someone who can independently deliver training, provide mentorship, and contribute subject matter expertise in flooring systems and estimating practices. Qualifications: 3–5 years of hands-on experience as a Flooring Specialist or in a related flooring construction trade. Strong experience working on U.S.-based construction projects, with solid knowledge of U.S. standards, terminology, and workflows. Prior experience in a training, mentoring, coaching, or team lead capacity within the flooring industry. Strong understanding of flooring systems, materials, installation methods, estimating principles, takeoffs, and project coordination. Knowledge of U.S. flooring codes, specifications, and manufacturer requirements. Experience with commercial and/or residential flooring estimating. Familiarity with estimating software, digital takeoff tools, and blueprint reading Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal). Ability to work independently and manage deliverables in a remote contractor setup. Professional, patient, and effective in guiding learners with varying skill levels.
