This is a senior, hands-on role combining strategic oversight with strong operational control. You will work across growers, packhouses, service providers and internal teams to ensure our products and supply chain meet rigorous food safety, quality, ethical sourcing and regulatory standards.
What you’ll be responsible for
Lead Food Safety & Quality: Define and implement food safety and quality standards across the end-to-end supply chain, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, certifications and internal requirements.
Manage Suppliers & Farms: Work closely with growers, packhouses and service providers, conducting audits and farm visits, supporting supplier development and ensuring corrective actions are effectively implemented.
Drive Responsible Supply Chain Due Diligence: Lead risk-based due diligence covering human rights, labour conditions, ethical sourcing and environmental compliance, ensuring robust documentation, traceability and follow-up.
Manage Quality Performance: Own claims, rejections and complaints, leading root-cause analysis and corrective and preventive actions to improve quality performance and reduce waste.
Lead Incident & Crisis Management: Coordinate responses to food safety incidents, including product holds, withdrawals, recalls and mock recalls, while ensuring full traceability across the supply chain.
Develop the Team: Lead, motivate and support the professional development of a team of 3–5 direct reports.

Strong experience working across international supply chains and multiple sourcing origins
Deep knowledge of food safety standards and certification schemes, including Global G.A.P., GRASP, BRC, IFS and HACCP
Strong supplier auditing, compliance and continuous improvement experience
Experience managing quality incidents, complaints, claims and recalls
Good understanding of cold chain and post-harvest handling
Strong analytical, reporting and stakeholder-management skills

If you have deep fresh produce experience and enjoy working at the intersection of food safety, supplier management and responsible sourcing, we’d love to hear from you.
