About the Role

We are looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer who combines strong software engineering skills with practical AI implementation experience. In this role, you will work closely with business operations teams to identify manual, repetitive processes and transform them into efficient, AI-powered workflows.

You will build, deploy, and maintain AI agents and automation solutions that solve real business problems. This position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working directly with business stakeholders, translating operational needs into technical solutions, and delivering software that creates measurable impact.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate directly with business and operations teams to identify manual processes and opportunities for automation.
• Design, develop, and deploy AI agents, LLM-powered applications, and intelligent automation workflows.
• Build and maintain integrations between AI solutions and business systems using APIs.
• Develop reliable, scalable software solutions using TypeScript and/or Python.
• Translate business requirements from non-technical stakeholders into functional technical solutions.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and continuously improve deployed AI agents and automated workflows.
• Ensure solutions are reliable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with business objectives.
• Document technical implementations, workflows, and system integrations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• At least 3 years of software engineering experience using TypeScript and/or Python.
• Proven experience building and deploying at least one AI agent or LLM-based automation solution in a production environment.
• Hands-on experience integrating APIs with business applications and systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into working software.
• Experience working directly with non-technical stakeholders or business users.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage technical projects effectively.
• Willingness to work with at least 4 hours of overlap with US Pacific Time.

Nice to Have

• Experience in financial services, fintech, or lending operations.
• Experience with Salesforce development and integrations.
• Familiarity with Airtable or similar business workflow platforms.
• Experience with test automation tools such as Playwright.
• Experience implementing AI-driven process improvements in a business environment.
