The company

WORK-SELF builds Maya Enterprise, the Human Context infrastructure for enterprise AI. AI agents increasingly perform work inside large organisations, but they need context about the people and decisions around that work: who owns it, which decisions an agent can make, when a person reviews the result and how exceptions are escalated. Maya provides this governed context through an MCP-native server so employees and agents can complete work through accountable workflows.

We are a London-based enterprise AI company. In our first year we won enterprise contracts across banking, utilities, property services and European public finance, reached EBITDA-positive operations with a small team, and deployed Maya with enterprise customers. We work with technology and delivery partners and hold a granted US AI patent assigned to the company. Our next stage is scaling product delivery, enterprise adoption and partner-led growth. The people joining now will help build that next stage.

The role

You will work directly with the founder across five functions: sales, marketing, operations, fundraising and client delivery. Our buyers include CFOs, COOs and Chief AI Officers at large, often regulated enterprises. The commercial approach combines targeted account work, senior introductions, channel partnerships and client-ready evidence. This is a hands-on role for someone who can turn ambiguous priorities into finished work without creating more process than the team needs.

Expected compensation ranges: £38k – £50k per year (Base) + £85k - £125k (Equity) + Bonus on performance and standard benefits

What you will own

  • Enterprise sales execution. Research named accounts and executive buyers; prepare briefings, proposals, benchmarking materials and follow-up documents. Keep CRM records and next actions accurate so enterprise pursuits move forward.

  • Partner and channel coordination. Support technology, integration and advisory partner workstreams. Prepare joint materials, track actions and keep the different parties aligned on timelines and commitments.

  • Client engagements and pilots. Coordinate scope, stakeholder communications, timelines and evidence collection for enterprise pilots and benchmarking programmes. Help convert delivered results into decision-ready client readouts and case studies.

  • Enterprise marketing and growth. Turn product milestones, customer insight and research into executive-standard one-pagers, webinar materials, LinkedIn content and campaigns. Work with the team on concise, credible messages rather than generic volume outreach.

  • Fundraising and company operations. Support investor research, board materials, financial and operating reporting, and special projects. Build simple internal systems that remove work from the founder and provide clear ownership across the team.

You will know you are succeeding when

  • First 30 days. You understand Maya, the priority enterprise opportunities and active partner workstreams. You independently produce executive-ready account research, meeting briefs and accurate action tracking.

  • By 90 days. You own several cross-functional workstreams with clear responsibilities and deadlines. Enterprise and partner follow-ups happen on time, and client-ready materials need minimal rework.

  • By 180 days. You have improved the management of commercial, client and investor workstreams, helped progress priority opportunities and built repeatable processes that free the founder to focus on customers and product.

Who does well here

• Around 2 to 4 years in management consulting, investment banking, enterprise B2B software or a high-ownership early-stage startup role.

• Exceptional writing, structured analysis and judgement when preparing materials for executives and institutional buyers.

• A record of owning several projects at once, following through and improving recurring processes rather than chasing individual tasks.

• Commercial curiosity about enterprise AI, operational transformation and how new technology reaches large organisations.

• Practical, responsible use of AI tools to speed up research, drafting or analysis, with evidence that you checked and improved the result.

This role suits a builder who enjoys commercial detail and follow-through. It is not a strategy-only role or a position centred on calendar management.

What you get

• Direct daily work with the founder across enterprise customers, partners and company decisions.

• A broad view of how an early-stage enterprise AI business builds, sells and delivers its product.

• Room to grow into a GTM Operations or Chief of Staff leadership track as the company scales, subject to performance and company needs.

If this resonates with you, we would love to hear from you. Any questions, please email us at careers@work-self.com
