Show job description

Odin is building the investment infrastructure for the future of private markets.
We believe capital is one of the most powerful tools for shaping the world - and more people should know how to put it to work. Our mission is to make it radically easier to raise and deploy capital, so that anyone, anywhere, can back the companies and ideas they believe in.

Our first product is a full-stack platform for launching and running private investment firms, allowing you to run everything from your phone - think Shopify for VC and PE. We handle all the infrastructure: from legal structuring and investor onboarding to KYC/AML, payments, tax, reporting, and exits.

We're already trusted by over 10,000 angels, VCs, and founders. We administer over $750m in assets, covering investments from pre-seed to series E. This includes household names like ElevenLabs, OpenAI, SpaceX, xAI, Anduril, etc. but also new companies creating everything from synthetic brains to small nuclear reactors.

Why we're hiring

  • We're past product-market fit and growing 2x year on year, almost entirely through word of mouth, Google and AI search. Around 70 new leads land each month without a growth engine behind them, and you'll play a pivotal role in building one alongside the founders.

  • Our co-founder Paddy is taking direct ownership of growth, and he wants a commercially minded builder alongside him: someone who'd rather make the thing than talk about it.

  • You'll sit in the founders' office, working directly with Paddy on whatever moves the number most, from partnerships and events to building something that brings in 50 qualified leads in a month.

  • The goal is 7,000 deals a year. Getting there depends on more of the right people finding us.

What you'll build

You'll work directly with Paddy, our co-founder, with the freedom to try things fast and the backing to scale what works

  • Growth mechanisms: Lead magnets, micro products, tools and campaigns that bring syndicate leads and fund managers to Odin. You build the actual thing with AI, not a strategy deck about it. Think a calculator every new fund manager bookmarks, or a tool that turns a syndicate lead's first deal into a week's work instead of a month's. Ship it, see what works, double down.

  • Partnerships: Co-investors, syndicate networks, accelerators and fund admins already talk to the people we want to reach. You find the ones who can send us the right people and get them live.

  • Events: Pitch nights, GP-LP mixers and founder dinners for a community that backs everything from AI labs to small nuclear reactors. You'll turn that into new customers.

  • Referrals and repeat: Our existing customers already come back again and again. You'll build the ways they bring others with them.

  • Special projects: The founders' office gets the problems that matter and don't have an owner yet. You'll pick them up, work out what's true and get them done.

What we're looking for

  • Exceptionally sharp: At least a couple of years in a role that's trained you to think fast and rigorously. That might be consulting, banking, VC, a founder associate or chief of staff role, or early-stage growth.

  • A commercially minded builder: You love making things, and you think about who they're for and whether they'll move the number before you start.

  • You build with AI: You ship things yourself rather than waiting for someone else to execute your ideas, and you can show us what you've made.

  • Analytical and financially literate: You're comfortable with numbers, you can tell what's working from the data, and you understand how capital moves.

  • Taste and creative flair: You know what will land with a sophisticated audience of investors and founders, and what won't.

  • Fast-moving and self-directed: You make decisions without constant validation and you'd rather ship something today than perfect it next month.

  • Outcomes over activity: Pipeline and revenue are what you optimise for, not impressions or output volume.

  • Credible with investors: Comfortable on a call with a seasoned GP or in a room full of them.

  • Big plus: private markets exposure: VC, angel syndicates or fund admin. Useful, but not required.

How we work

There are five things we care about deeply:

  1. Reason from the ground up: Seek to understand what is true by always asking why. Do not trust convention or experts.

  2. Speed begets speed: We work fast. Speed compounds, it's the best form of defensibility, and it's energising to be around. If you work slowly, or tolerate slow work around you, you do not belong at Odin.

  3. Take ownership: Do not wait for permission to do things. Find the answer, force the thing into existence and hold others to an extremely high standard - the same standard you hold yourself to.

  4. Brutal honesty: If work doesn't meet the bar, people need to hear it, and the right people want to.

  5. Truly excellent customer service: Be a stickler for detail in every single interaction a customer has with us, and always strive to make this experience better, smoother, faster.

This role is probably not for you if

  • You want a well-defined lane and a fully built playbook;

  • You'd rather write the strategy than build and ship the thing yourself;

  • You need a team underneath you to get things done;

Salary

£60,000–£70,000 base, plus bonus and a meaningful equity grant.

Hiring process

Four stages: an intro call with Imani, our Head of People, a call with Paddy, a 90-minute build task, and a final with our founders. Detailed feedback within 24 hours of each one.

Location & ways of working

We're a London-based team. This role works side by side with the founders, and the speed we run at makes that much easier in person. At least three days a week in the office.

Benefits

  • Health: Private health insurance (Vitality), paid sick leave including support for pregnancy loss and fertility treatments

  • Parental Leave: Enhanced maternity, adoption, paternity and partner leave

  • Pension: 4% employer contribution with salary sacrifice options

  • Time Off: 25 days annual leave, 2 wellness days and flexible bank holidays (33 days total)

  • Work From Anywhere: Up to 6 weeks per year working from anywhere globally

  • Birthday Leave: An additional day of leave
