THE OPPORTUNITY

SafeWave Systems Inc. is seeking a Canada-based Founding CEO / Partner to help build what we believe could become a globally significant Canadian AI infrastructure company, with SafeWave technology licensed and deployed into systems and products around the world.

This is not a conventional CEO opening and it is not an opportunity to start with a blank sheet.

A substantial AI execution-control architecture and detailed engineering already exist. The opportunity for the incoming CEO is to help prove it independently, finance it, build the company around it, and take it into global markets.

The central thesis is simple:

New AI capability should not create new authority.

AI is moving from a tool into a ubiquitous layer of everyday life, business and physical infrastructure. Models and agents are increasingly able not only to generate information, but to use tools, access systems, make decisions and cause real-world effects.

SafeWave addresses a recurring infrastructure question:

What is increasingly capable intelligence actually authorized to cause?

If that architecture is right, the opportunity is potentially both broad and deep.

Broad wherever AI interacts with tools, systems, resources, infrastructure or the physical world; deep as enforcement moves from software toward protected runtime, platform/OS, firmware, hardware roots and potentially silicon.

If SafeWave performs as specified under independent implementation and adversarial testing, the opportunity is not dependent on one model provider, one application or one industry.

It can expand horizontally across agents, enterprise AI, cybersecurity, cloud and compute, data centres, telecom, consumer devices, finance, government, biotechnology, robotics, autonomous systems, defence, space and critical infrastructure.

SafeWave is software-first. Where stronger and less bypassable enforcement is justified, selected execution-control functions can move deeper through protected runtime, platform/OS, firmware, hardware-rooted enforcement and potentially silicon.

The market universe is broad. The go-to-market sequence is deliberately narrow:

Build → validate → deploy → license → repeat.

The objective is to establish high-value implementations, independently prove the engineering, convert proof into commercial credibility and revenue, and reuse validated engineering across additional customers, products and markets.

ABOUT SAFEWAVE

Over nearly two years, SafeWave has developed a connected 36-part execution-control architecture supported by 36 U.S. AI patent applications and filings, together with substantial implementation-oriented engineering across major SafeWave architecture stacks.

SafeWave has been engineered around the distinction between capability and authority.

Increasingly capable AI may learn, reason, plan, adapt and become substantially more capable without automatically receiving additional authority to execute consequential actions.

Capability may expand. Authority must remain bounded.

The underlying architecture and substantial detailed engineering have already been developed. SafeWave is therefore not seeking financing to begin architecture discovery.

The next major stage is independent implementation, adversarial testing, validation, productization and commercialization.

THE FOUNDING CEO / PARTNER ROLE

Ronald M. Bazar will remain Founder & Chief Architect, providing architecture, IP and strategic continuity.

The Founding CEO / Partner will take primary responsibility for building and leading the operating company.

This is intended to be a genuine founder-level partnership, not a conventional hired-CEO position.

The CEO / Partner will:

• Lead financing, including the current approximately $10M go-to-market financing objective.

• Build SafeWave into a significant Canadian technology company with an international commercial strategy from the outset.

• Develop relationships with major technology companies, investors, strategic partners, governments, research organizations and early customers.

• Recruit an exceptional CTO and the initial engineering, assurance and commercialization nucleus.

• Establish company structure, governance, priorities and execution cadence.

• Move mature SafeWave architectures through independent implementation and adversarial testing.

• Convert validated engineering into licensable software, implementation pathways, integration tooling and customer deployments.

• Establish lighthouse implementations in selected high-value markets.

• Develop strategic licensing, OEM, platform and implementation-channel relationships.

• Build commercialization pathways into deeper runtime, firmware, hardware-rooted and potential silicon implementations where evidence justifies it.

• Represent SafeWave credibly with investors, engineers, major technology companies, customers, governments and international partners.

• Work closely with the Founder & Chief Architect while assuming primary responsibility for operating leadership, financing and commercial execution.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for an unusually strong company builder who is also deeply fluent in modern AI.

The successful candidate must be extremely comfortable working with AI systems directly — not merely managing people who understand them.

They should routinely work with and compare different AI models, engines and platforms and understand meaningful differences in model capability and reasoning, frontier and open-weight models, agents and multi-agent systems, tool use, multimodal systems, context and memory, orchestration, deployment architectures, local versus hosted models, and rapidly changing capability boundaries.

They must be able to recognize what new AI capabilities mean for products, customers, enterprise systems, security, infrastructure and execution authority.

The CEO does not need to be the principal technical architect or an ML researcher. But this person must be sufficiently AI-literate to work credibly and substantively with the CTO, engineers, AI companies, strategic partners, investors and customers.

The ideal candidate will also have several of the following:

• Experience as a CEO, founder, president, general manager or senior operating executive in a technology company.

• Demonstrated ability to raise meaningful institutional, venture or strategic capital.

• Experience turning technically complex intellectual property or infrastructure technology into a commercial company.

• Experience building strategic relationships with major technology companies, enterprises, governments or infrastructure organizations.

• Deep practical familiarity with the modern AI ecosystem and rapidly evolving agentic-AI landscape.

• Experience commercializing complex technology.

• Ability to recruit exceptional technical and commercial leaders.

• Board-level, investor and P&L experience.

• Ability to understand deep technical architecture without needing to become the principal architect.

• International commercial ambition combined with a desire to build a major Canadian technology company.

A conventional AI-safety background is not required. Deep engagement with AI itself is.

THE TECHNICAL AND COMMERCIAL GATE

SafeWave is pre-revenue today.

The central technical proposition is deliberately falsifiable:

Can increasingly capable AI retain — or increase — its useful capability while SafeWave prevents that increased capability from becoming authority to execute actions outside an explicitly granted envelope?

Independent engineers must be able to implement the architecture, attack it, determine whether it works as specified, and identify where and under what conditions it fails.

If it does not perform, rigorous external engineering should expose that. If it does, SafeWave may have the beginnings of a new execution-control infrastructure layer applicable across a very large and growing universe of AI-enabled systems.

That independent proof is the bridge from developed architecture to global commercialization.

COMPENSATION AND FOUNDER-LEVEL UPSIDE

This is currently a company-formation and financing-stage opportunity.

Expected base salary following successful financing: CAD $225,000–$300,000 annually, plus meaningful founder-level equity participation, with final terms to be negotiated with the successful candidate.

Cash salary commencement is contingent on successful financing.

This is not presently a fully financed corporate CEO role. The opportunity is to join at the formation stage as a true founding partner and help create the value the operating company can ultimately represent.

For the person we are seeking, the principal attraction should be the opportunity to help build a major Canadian AI technology company with potentially global deployment, licensing and strategic significance.

LOCATION

Canada-based.

SafeWave Systems Inc. is incorporated in British Columbia. The Founding CEO / Partner does not need to relocate to Vancouver initially, and the role can begin on a remote basis within Canada. As the company grows, builds its team and establishes a permanent operating base, we expect the CEO to play a central role in determining and helping establish SafeWave’s longer-term office and headquarters presence in British Columbia, with travel as required for investors, strategic partners, customers, engineering teams and international commercialization..
