Founding Electrical Engineer

• Designing scenario-based assessments and simulation questions (PCB design, schematic design, circuit analysis) for clients across space & defense, robotics, and manufacturing.
• Managing and overseeing a team of electrical engineering contractors and interns, disseminating tasks and ensuring quality of question and scenario creation.
• Having direct conversations with directors of engineering and VPs at leading deeptech companies to learn their workflows and translate that into tailored evaluations.
• Leading a foundational research project to build a comprehensive taxonomy that breaks down electrical engineering into all of its constituent skills and coverage areas.
• Collaborating closely with the founder and the mechanical engineer to shape the company's assessment platform and product direction.

• 4 -​ 10 years of experience in electrical engineering.
• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering.
• Proficient in ECAD tools (Altium,​ KiCad,​ or Cadence).
• Experience interviewing or mentoring junior engineers.
• Can hold technical conversations with engineering directors at client companies.
• Worked as an EE at a space &​ defense company (e.​g.​ Series D+).
• Breadth across EE domains (power,​ avionics,​ embedded,​ controls).

• End-​to-​end PCB design and schematic experience.
• Builds side projects or explores EE topics beyond day job.
• Graduate from a top school.
• University of Waterloo graduate.
