About Solum Health

At Solum Health, we’re rebuilding the broken back office of healthcare, one AI agent, workflow, and system at a time.

Today, outpatient specialty clinics across the U.S. are buried in administrative chaos: faxed referrals, handwritten forms, endless insurance calls, missing documentation, and frustrated patients. We’re changing that.

Our AI-powered platform automates intake, benefits verification, documentation, and even conversations with payers and patients—so providers can focus on care, not operations.

We’re already live with some of the largest healthcare providers in the U.S., growing rapidly, and backed by top-tier investors including Y Combinator, Liquid 2 Ventures, Funders Club, Wisdom Ventures, and operators like Immad Akhund (Mercury), Sebastian Mejia (Rappi), and Bradley Horowitz (VP Product, Google).

What You’ll Do

You’ll operate at the intersection of full-stack engineering and applied AI.

  • Build across the stack: Ship end-to-end features using Next.js, FastAPI, NestJS, or similar frameworks
  • Leverage LLMs deeply: Use tools like Claude Code and Codex to accelerate ~80% of development workflows
  • Own AI agent quality: Design, manage, and optimize prompt systems with versioning, testing, and iteration
  • Run evaluations: Implement eval frameworks, A/B testing, and performance tracking for real-world AI behavior
  • Architect automations: Build scalable workflows with n8n and integrate with EHRs, VOIP, fax, Gmail, and more
  • Handle messy systems: Work with fragmented, real-world healthcare data and make it reliable
  • Ensure quality: Lead code reviews, testing (unit + integration), and QA processes
  • Ship fast: Deploy frequently into production environments used by real clinics
  • Work closely with users: Collaborate directly with founders, product, and customers to build what actually matters
  • Help build the company: Shape product, culture, and engineering standards from day one

You Might Be a Fit If You…

  • Can build full-stack systems from scratch and take ownership end-to-end
  • Have strong experience with LLMs: prompt engineering, prompt systems, and production evaluation
  • Are fluent with modern AI tooling (LangChain, vector DBs, OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, ElevenLabs, Deepgram, etc.)
  • Have built or managed complex integrations across APIs, MCPs, and external systems
  • Are comfortable using AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Codex) as a core part of your workflow
  • Have experience with workflow automation tools like n8n
  • Care deeply about code quality: testing, evaluation, and reliability
  • Move fast, prioritize impact, and don’t wait for perfect solutions
  • Are relentlessly curious and constantly learning, building, and experimenting
  • Think like a future founder and push yourself to grow at an extreme pace
  • Priotize learning and growth over work life balance.

This Isn’t a 9–5

We’re not building a lightweight SaaS tool—we’re rebuilding critical healthcare infrastructure.

This role is for builders who want intensity, ownership, and rapid growth.

  • Expect high velocity, real responsibility, and meaningful impact
  • Typical weeks are demanding (often 6 days, 10–12 hours/day during sprints)
  • We balance hard pushes with real recovery

If you’re optimizing for comfort or work-life balance, this won’t be the right fit—and that’s okay.

If you want to accelerate your growth, operate at the edge of AI, and build something that truly matters, this could be the most impactful role of your career.
