As an FP&A Ops Lead - M&S Americas, you’ll bring your skill, your curiosity and your drive to make health simpler, smarter and more human.
About the job:
As part of the FP&A Operations Manufacturing & Supply organization, you will lead capital and operating expenditure financial operations for manufacturing sites across the Americas. Reporting to the Head of FP&A Operations Americas, you will strengthen reporting accuracy, forecasting reliability and financial governance while partnering with Manufacturing, Finance Business Partners and Site Controllers to support sound decisions and operational efficiency.
• Lead initiatives that advance our brands and strengthen our reputation worldwide.
• Mentor and uplift emerging talent while pushing your own growth and influence.
• Put purpose into practice — embedding sustainability, access and social impact into every decision.
• Model the challenger mindset: question complexity, act with integrity and make things radically simple.
• Help shape a culture that’s ambitious, collaborative and serious about recognition and belonging.
Main responsibilities:
• Lead monthly closing activities for manufacturing expenses and capital investments, including variance analysis, accruals, provisions, prepaid expenses, capitalization and related balance sheet reviews.
• Lead budget, forecast and rolling forecast cycles for capital and operating expenditure, consolidating assumptions and validating spending plans with site finance partners.
• Build and maintain forecasts, identify financial risks and opportunities, and support long-range planning and scenario analysis for manufacturing investments and cost optimization.
• Oversee capital investment governance by monitoring project execution, approved budgets, timelines, capitalization milestones, financial performance and return-on-investment indicators.
• Partner with Manufacturing Site Controllers and cross-functional teams across the Americas, providing actionable insights, challenging assumptions and supporting investment and expense reviews.
• Prepare management reporting and industrial performance analysis, ensuring consistent and reliable data across financial systems and reporting tools.
• Develop dashboards and analytical tools while advancing process standardization, automation, simplification, data governance and continuous improvement across the region.
About you:
• Experience in finance, controlling, financial planning and analysis, cost accounting or manufacturing finance, with practical exposure to capital expenditure management, industrial controlling or supply chain finance.
• Strong understanding of capital expenditure accounting, fixed assets, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, internal controls and financial governance.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, strong SAP knowledge, and experience with planning and forecasting tools such as TM1.
• Working knowledge of Power BI, Power Query or comparable data visualization tools, with the ability to develop clear reporting and analytical solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, business partnering and stakeholder management skills, with clear communication and presentation capabilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Fluent English and Spanish, written and spoken. Portuguese or French is a plus.
