Job Requisition ID #
We are seeking an FP&A Analyst to join our growing FP&A Solutions team within the Finance Transformation organization. This role will support the evolution, optimization, and day-to-day management of our financial systems, with a primary focus on Workday Adaptive Planning and the budgeting, forecasting, planning, and reporting processes it enables.
As a member of the Finance Transformation organization, you will partner with FP&A, Finance Business Partners, and cross-functional stakeholders to improve financial models, reporting workflows, system functionality, and data quality. You will support system administration and configuration, end-user needs, documentation, testing, and the delivery of enhancements that improve efficiency and strengthen confidence in financial data.
The ideal candidate combines a solid foundation in FP&A and financial analysis with an interest in financial systems and technology. You are analytical, detail-oriented, curious, and comfortable solving problems across data, systems, and business processes. You enjoy learning how processes work, identifying opportunities for improvement, and partnering with others to implement practical solutions.
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance financial models and reporting processes in partnership with Finance Business Partners and Corporate FP&A to support forecasting, monthly and quarterly reporting, annual budgeting, and long-range planning.
- Support Workday Adaptive Planning administration and configuration, including model updates, reporting, user support, data validation, testing, and ongoing system maintenance.
- Monitor and validate financial data across systems by performing reconciliations, identifying anomalies, investigating data issues, and partnering with business users and process owners to resolve discrepancies.
- Support financial systems enhancements and transformation initiatives, including EPM enhancements, ERP integrations, process automation, and configuration changes.
- Participate throughout the system development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, documentation, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), training, implementation, and post-launch support.
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and help translate those needs into system, reporting, and process solutions.
- Develop and maintain documentation for financial systems and processes, including process guides, configuration documentation, training materials, testing documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Support projects and system enhancements by coordinating activities, tracking deliverables, communicating progress, identifying risks or dependencies, and escalating issues when appropriate.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, and automate recurring financial processes and reporting activities.
- Collaborate across Finance, HR, IT, Data, and other business teams to support financial systems, integrations, reporting, and process improvement initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3–6 years of experience in FP&A, financial systems, finance transformation, business systems, financial analysis, or a related role.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, variance analysis, and/or financial planning processes.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Adaptive Planning or another enterprise planning/EPM platform.
- Experience working with financial or enterprise systems such as SAP, Workday, Snowflake, Power BI, or similar platforms is preferred; candidates are not expected to have deep expertise across every platform.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate data issues, identify root causes, and recommend practical solutions.
- Understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Experience supporting system enhancements, implementations, integrations, testing, or process improvement initiatives.
- Strong attention to detail and an understanding of how changes to systems or processes can affect data flows, reporting, and downstream business processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, organize work effectively, and deliver accurate results in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
- Demonstrated curiosity and interest in using technology, automation, and data to improve Finance processes and decision-making.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning, particularly modeling, reporting, planning, or system administration.
- Exposure to SAP, Workday HCM, Snowflake, Power BI, or similar enterprise applications.
- Experience participating in UAT, requirements gathering, system configuration, integrations, or change management.
- Experience working within an FP&A, Finance Transformation, Financial Systems, or Corporate Finance organization.
- Interest in emerging technologies and their application to Finance, including automation, analytics, and AI-enabled workflows.
