Fraud Payments Application Support Specialist

The Payments Application Team is a close-knit group of individuals that share a commitment to ensure our payment applications run smoothly and we enhance these applications in small ways to help UMB move forward in the payments space. As the Fraud Payments Application Support Specialist, you will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and supporting our payment applications, specifically our new fraud platform. Fraud monitoring will be a critical step in payments processing for UMB as all payment rails will be integrated with the new fraud system. This role supports primarily distributed applications where we manage platform integrations and coordinate service delivery with a variety of vendors. This is a subset of the overall responsibilities which will include multiple initiatives assigned by IT leadership.

This role is hybrid (Mon through Thu on-site / Fri remote) at the UMB Technology & Operations Center located in downtown Kansas City, MO.

How you will spend your time:

• Provide production support of highly complex applications in production by troubleshooting issues, proposing solutions, developing and testing fixes, and implementing solutions.
• Work closely with application and infrastructure teams, vendors and various business units to identify solutions to remediate issues.
• Provide support and development in project delivery for our fraud systems that include monitoring and automated customer notifications.

We are excited to talk if you have:

• At least 3 years of experience in an application support role.
• Fraud related application support with the Visa Featurespace platform.
• Knowledge in implementation/support of packaged applications with components running under a variety of possible technologies such as: Microsoft technologies, Java, web services, Oracle & SQL databases, Linux & Unix operating systems and MQ series.
• Moderate to advanced experience in SQL.

Bonus Points if you have:

• Experience within the banking / financial services industry.

Compensation Range:

$81,864 - $120,406
