Role Description The Freelance Vendor Manager (Commission Based) role is a remote contract position focused on developing, managing, and growing a network of recruitment vendors and agents across India. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and onboarding new recruitment partners, maintaining regular communication with existing vendors, and ensuring they understand role requirements, compliance standards, and timelines. The Vendor Manager will coordinate candidate sourcing activities for GCC clients, monitor vendor performance, and address issues related to candidate quality, documentation, and reliability. This role also involves negotiating terms with vendors, tracking commission-based outcomes, preparing brief progress reports, and collaborating with internal teams to align vendor pipelines with client needs. The position suits self-directed professionals who are comfortable working on commission and managing multiple vendor relationships remotely.

Qualifications

• Experience in vendor management, recruitment coordination, or agency liaison, preferably within staffing or workforce sourcing.
• Strong skills in relationship building, negotiation, and stakeholder communication with external partners.
• Ability to manage multiple vendors, track performance, and maintain accurate records of candidates and placements.
• Understanding of recruitment processes and documentation for international placements; GCC or MOHRE-related exposure is an advantage.
• Comfort working in a commission-based, target-driven environment with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency with basic digital tools (spreadsheets, messaging platforms, CRM or applicant tracking systems is a plus).
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Hindi or other regional Indian languages is beneficial.
• Previous experience in construction, hospitality, healthcare, logistics, or facilities management recruitment is an asset.
• Ability to work remotely with reliable internet access and maintain professional communication across time zones.
• Relevant education in business, human resources, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory when offset by proven experience.
