Web Software Developer – Front End

Location: Dublin, Ireland (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

Contract: 6 months

Rate: €500 per day


About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Web Software Developer with a strong front-end focus to join a technology team in Dublin on an initial 6-month contract.

You will contribute to the development of modern digital products and cloud-based applications, working across front-end technologies and backend services to deliver reliable, scalable solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills, experience with modern front-end frameworks, and an understanding of APIs, databases and cloud environments.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and maintain modern, responsive web applications.
  • Build user interfaces using JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML and CSS.
  • Work with React, Next.js or similar front-end frameworks.
  • Integrate front-end applications with backend services and REST APIs.
  • Collaborate with developers and other technical stakeholders to deliver software solutions.
  • Work with cloud-based environments across Azure, AWS or GCP.
  • Use Git and GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
  • Support application performance, testing, debugging and ongoing improvements.
  • Work with SQL and NoSQL databases where required.


Required Skills and Experience


  • At least 3 years of commercial software development experience.
  • Strong JavaScript and TypeScript development skills.
  • Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS.
  • Commercial experience with React, Next.js or a similar front-end framework.
  • Experience working with Node.js, Express and REST APIs.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS or GCP.
  • Experience using Git and GitHub.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively within a development team.


Desirable Experience


  • Full-stack software development experience.
  • Experience building and integrating cloud-based applications.
  • Familiarity with modern software development practices and collaborative workflows.


Contract Details


  • Duration: 6 months
  • Location: Dublin, Ireland
  • Working arrangement: 3 days onsite per week
  • Rate: €500 per day
