About project: We are looking for a Frontend Developer for our French client, who deals with the production of various types of glasses as well as cooperation with opticians. Their mission is to improve the quality of life by improving the quality of vision. Responsibilities: As Frontend Developer you will be developing and maintaining user-facing web applications using ReactJS and Next.js, ensuring clean structure and maintainable code; You will be implementing reusable UI components using TypeScript and established design patterns, supporting consistency and scalability across the application; You will be applying responsive design principles, making sure applications work seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices; You will be assisting in optimizing frontend performance, improving rendering behavior, load times, and overall user experience; You will be working closely with UI/UX designers, accurately translating designs, wireframes, and prototypes into functional and visually consistent interfaces; You will be integrating frontend components with RESTful APIs, ensuring smooth data flow and reliable communication with backend services; You will be participating in code reviews, contributing feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices; You will be writing and maintaining basic automated tests, supporting application stability and reducing regression risks; You will be following established frontend standards, guidelines, and development processes, ensuring consistency across the codebase; You will be staying up to date with modern frontend technologies and best practices, continuously improving your technical skills and development approach. Requirements: 2+ years of experience in web or frontend development, allowing you to contribute independently to frontend tasks and features; Work in a hybrid set up (3 days onsite in Alabang, Muntinlupa and 2 days WFH) - Necessary condition; Hands-on experience with ReactJS and exposure to Next.js, enabling you to build modern, component-based applications; Strong proficiency in JavaScript, with practical knowledge of ES6+ features used in modern frontend development; Experience using TypeScript in frontend projects, supporting type safety and code maintainability; Understanding of component-based architecture and responsive UI design, ensuring reusable and adaptable interfaces; Familiarity with Redux or other state management libraries, allowing you to manage application state effectively; Solid understanding of ReactJS core concepts, such as hooks, lifecycle, and component composition; Good knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3, supporting semantic markup and modern styling techniques; Experience integrating frontend applications with RESTful APIs, enabling dynamic data-driven interfaces; Familiarity with modern development tools, including Git for version control, Webpack for bundling, and Babel for transpilation; Basic understanding of frontend testing frameworks, supporting quality and reliability of delivered features. Nice to have: Experience with CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less, enabling more structured and maintainable styling.
