Frontend Engineer (Remote, Consumer Healthcare)

Company is in the consumer healthcare tech space Changing the way healthcare is delivered by providing a range of medical solutions using software, data science, fitness and dieting recommendations, medication and more This is a full-time, remote position with flexible hours Contribute and deploy code written in Javascript (EmberJS and any other JS framework), CSS (SASS), HTML (templates) Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues Participate in code reviews Create front-end pages with great UI/UX that works cross-browsers Accomplish innovative UI/UX using JavaScript Great communication highly valued Great written and spoken English proficiency 4 or more years of experience in modern JS with great fundamental knowledge of Javascript Proficiency or willing and proficient enough in Javascript to pick up and learn EmberJS (Octane) and ReactJS Great appreciation of product UI and UX with the ability to discuss better UI/UX as the product is developed Ability to comfortably and independently think and develop product features from scratch Ability to make sound trade-offs between speed and quality of code, etc Comfortable working with Git, NPM, Gulp, Grunt, Webpack Plus point if you are experience with mobile web/cordova Plus point if you have experience with Ruby on Rails, Firebase Plus point if you have experience working in healthcare or similar industries Benefits: Competitive salary, allowance, and bonus Remote possible Please include your expected salary in the message or on your CV
