This is a remote role strictly for candidates within the United States. We are seeking a talented and motivated Remote Full Stack Developer to join our team at Orionyx Engineering Ltd. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications that support our engineering solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize full stack solutions that enhance our operational capabilities and improve user experience. Key Responsibilities: Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using modern frameworks and technologies. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to implement user-friendly interfaces that meet business requirements. Build RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services to enhance application functionality. Database Management: Design and manage databases (SQL and NoSQL) to ensure data integrity and accessibility. Optimize database queries and structures for performance and scalability. Testing and Quality Assurance: Write automated tests and conduct code reviews to ensure high-quality code. Identify and troubleshoot issues in a timely manner, ensuring a smooth user experience. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning and daily stand-ups. Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and best practices in software development. Contribute to team knowledge-sharing sessions and mentoring of junior developers. Qualifications: Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Technical Skills: Proficiency in front-end technologies: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js. Strong experience with back-end technologies: Node.js, Python, Ruby, or Java. Familiarity with database technologies: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar. Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development practices. Experience: 3+ years of experience in full stack development, preferably in an engineering or technical environment. Proven track record of delivering high-quality web applications and features. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote setting. Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively while working independently.
