The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity to join a major digital transformation programme within the aviation sector, developing innovative web and mobile solutions that will shape the passenger experience and improve airport operations.

As a Senior Full-Stack Web Developer, you will play a key role in delivering end-to-end applications across a large-scale digital ecosystem, working with modern technologies including React, Next.js and Node.js.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable, high-performance web applications using React, Next.js, JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Build and maintain back-end services and microservices using Node.js, designing secure REST and GraphQL APIs.

• Integrate applications with headless CMS platforms, third-party suppliers, legacy systems and internal data sources.

• Optimise application performance, accessibility, responsiveness and SEO, applying modern front-end development practices.

• Work closely with architects, UX/UI designers, QA teams and business stakeholders to shape technical solutions, manage dependencies and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  
  

About You

• At least 5 years' experience developing large-scale, production-grade web applications in a full-stack role.

• Strong expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Next.js and Node.js, across both front-end and back-end development.

• Solid database experience with SQL or NoSQL technologies such as PostgreSQL, MSSQL or MongoDB, alongside caching solutions such as Redis.

• Experience with cloud platforms, ideally Microsoft Azure, and CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment.

• Comfortable working in Agile environments, with strong communication skills, technical ownership and the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
