Video Editor (Long-Form / YouTube Videos)

Volume: 30 videos (9-11 minutes each) per month
Compensation: 28K depending on the quality of work
About the role: I'm Waseem. I make simple life hacks videos targeted to US audience aged 50-60+ on YouTube. My videos go out consistently, and I'm looking for one editor to own that output. This is a volume role, not a fancy video competition. I'm not asking for cinematic, 40-hour-per-video masterpieces. I need clean, sharp, engaging edits that look and feel premium — delivered on schedule, week after week. If you can hit "good" reliably, that beats "great" occasionally. Every single time. You'll be the only editor on my content.
What you'll do: Edit 30 videos per month (roughly 7 per week) from script and voiceover I provided
Add captions/subtitles: None needed
Match a consistent visual style and template system across every video
Deliver in the agreed format and aspect ratio, ready to post
Turn around 1–2 small rounds of revisions quickly
Keep a simple, organised file and delivery system (Drive/Frame.io/whatever we agree on)
What I'm actually looking for:
Non-negotiables: You meet deadlines. This is the single most important thing on this list. If you commit to Thursday, it lands Thursday — not Friday morning with an explanation.
You communicate. You confirm receipt, flag problems early, and don't go silent for three days.
1+ year editing long-form content for YT videos.
Fluent in Premiere Pro / CapCut / (any solid combo)
Genuine understanding of what makes a video get watched to the end — hooks, pacing, pattern interrupts, transitions, etc.
Stable internet and the bandwidth to handle 7 videos a week without falling behind
Comfortable working English for briefs and feedback
Ability to pull good cuts from a long recording with minimal direction
