Fullstack AI Web Development Trainee Programme

• Sessions: Monday to Friday, 17:00 – 18:30 CET

Purpose

The Swedish tech market is rapidly adopting AI-driven solutions, yet there is a clear shortage of developers who can combine strong fullstack skills with the ability to integrate modern AI tools into real-world applications. To address this gap, Stockholm IT Academi AB (SITA.dev) is launching the Fullstack AI Web Development Trainee Programme.

This programme is not a paid position and not employment. It is a learning opportunity created to raise AI competency in Sweden and prepare future-ready developers. Participants will undergo an intensive 16-week journey, building complete AI-powered applications while working in a team-driven, hands-on environment. Selected candidates will also be considered for a four-month optional internship starting in January 2026.

Who Should Apply

This programme is not for beginners. It is designed for individuals who already have:

• A strong foundation in web development

• Proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript and/or Python

• Previous coding experience with projects to demonstrate their skills

If you are already comfortable with the fundamentals and are ready to take the next step into AI-powered fullstack development, this programme is for you.

Programme Structure

Phase 1: Advanced Fullstack Development (Month 1)

• Frontend: React or Next.js

• Backend: Node.js with Express and Python with FastAPI or Django

• Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Firebase

• Development Tools: Git, GitHub, Docker, CI/CD pipelines

• Deployment: AWS, Azure, Vercel

Phase 2: AI Integration and LLMs (Month 2 onwards)

• OpenAI: ChatGPT, Whisper, GPT-4 with Vision

• Anthropic: Claude

• Cohere: Text generation and classification APIs

• Hugging Face: Inference API for ready-to-use models

• Vector Databases: Pinecone, Weaviate

• Orchestration: LangChain

• Enterprise AI: Google Cloud AI, AWS AI Services, Microsoft Azure AI

Phase 3: Real-World Projects
You will apply your skills in projects that solve real business problems:

• AI-powered customer support chatbot for a website

• Personal finance tracker with AI-driven insights

• E-learning platform with AI tutor and speech-to-text features

• Recruitment tool that integrates CV parsing and AI interview Q&A

Intensity and Commitment

This is a serious and intensive programme. It is not a casual learning track. Every week will involve hands-on coding, project building, and real-time collaboration.

At times, entire weekends may be dedicated to hackathon-style sessions where teams will work together to deliver solutions under deadlines.

Because the programme runs for less than four months, full dedication is required. Only apply if you are prepared to commit your time and energy. Do not apply out of FOMO. Partial participation, absconding, or early exit will result in penalties, as this affects the team and programme flow.

Important Information

• This is not a paid programme. No salary or stipend is provided.

• This is not employment. It is a structured learning pathway.

• Participation does not guarantee a job. However, mentorship, career support, and an optional internship are offered.

• The internship (Jan–Apr 2026) is limited to selected participants and is entirely optional.

Eligibility

• Must already live in Sweden with a valid residence permit or visa

• Must demonstrate strong web development foundations (portfolio, GitHub, or project samples)

• Must be ready to commit to the full four-month intensive schedule
