We usually respond within three days The Core Development team is responsible for building in-house systems along with integrating and customizing 3rd party applications that are critical to the operation of the Firm. The team is looking for a talented candidate with a strong academic record of accomplishment and a proven track record within the software development field to join a growing team and contribute to the success of the firm. Responsibilities: •Develop, support, document, and test the firm’s custom .NET Straight-Through Processing (STP) trade platform, portfolio management platform, as well as other business-critical .NET platform functions, including research, pricing, financing, trade settlement, compliance, diagnostic, and workflow modules. •Develop, support, document, and test custom integrations for the 3rd party platforms such as Unit4 Agresso and SharePoint. •Write well organized and thought-out documentation using Confluence. •Identify performance bottlenecks and system bugs, and devise solutions to these problems. •Work directly with the project management and business teams to translate application requirements into functional applications. Requirements: •Minimum of 10 years professional experience in software development. •Minimum of 5 years professional experience developing solutions using C#, WPF, WinForms, ASP.NET, Web API, and WCF. •Experience in relational database design and SQL Development. •Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and Git. •Strong academic track record with degree in Computer Science or related technical degree. •Excellent analytical, financial, and problem-solving skills. •Self-motivated, quick learner, and demonstrated ability for learning new technology. •Strong written and verbal communication skills. Nice to have: •Experience developing cloud solutions with Azure. •Experience with messaging technology such as MSMQ and RabbitMQ. •Experience with modernizing and transitioning software architecture and technology. •Accounting and finance knowledge. •Experience working in financial services industry. •Experience with web technologies such as React, Angular, and Vue.js. •Excel skills building functions, macros, and custom add-ins. •Experience with scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell.
