Company Description IA-Foundation is a UK- and Nigeria-registered education nonprofit organization dedicated to reducing the number of out-of-school children in Nigeria. The organization focuses on removing barriers to quality education for indigent children through bursaries, scholarships, mentoring, capacity development, advocacy, and economic empowerment. IA-Foundation has successfully supported many children by taking them off the streets and enrolling them in schools across multiple states. The team collaborates with partners, donors, and communities to expand educational access and create long-term impact for children in need.

Role Description The Fundraising & Partnership Manager is a full-time, remote role responsible for driving revenue growth and strategic collaborations to support IA-Foundation’s mission. This position involves designing and implementing fundraising strategies, identifying and cultivating new donors, and managing relationships with existing individual, corporate, and institutional funders. The role includes researching prospective partners, preparing compelling proposals and grant applications, and organizing online and offline fundraising campaigns and events. The Manager will collaborate with program and communications teams to develop impactful fundraising materials, track performance metrics, report on outcomes, and ensure transparent stewardship of all partnerships. This role also requires regular communication with stakeholders, monitoring trends in the nonprofit and education sectors, and recommending innovative approaches to diversify funding streams.

Qualifications

  • Strong Partnerships and Strategic Partnerships skills, with experience building and sustaining long-term collaborations.
  • 5+ years fundraising experience
  • Account Management and Communication skills to manage donor and partner relationships professionally and effectively.
  • Analytical Skills to assess fundraising performance, segment audiences, and develop data-informed strategies.
  • Experience in fundraising, grant writing, donor engagement, or business development within nonprofits or related sectors.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft clear proposals and presentations.
  • Familiarity with CRM or donor management tools and basic proficiency in office productivity software.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Marketing, Development Studies, Social Sciences) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Knowledge of education, international development, or Nigerian socio-economic context is an advantage.
