Role Description This is a full-time, hybrid role for a German Speaker (minimum C1 level) based in Greater Kuala Lumpur, with part of the work performed from home. The role involves using advanced German language skills to support communication with German-speaking clients and stakeholders, including interpreting written materials, reviewing documentation, and responding to inquiries. Day-to-day tasks include translating and localizing content related to AI-driven operational solutions, preparing clear written summaries and reports, and ensuring accuracy and consistency in all German-language communications. The German Speaker will collaborate with project teams to support service delivery, help clarify client requirements, and assist in documentation for banking, insurance, and enterprise processes. The role also requires proactive coordination with internal teams, maintaining organized records, and contributing to continuous improvement in communication workflows.

Qualifications

• Advanced German language proficiency (C1 minimum) and strong English communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Skills in translation, localization, and business communication, with the ability to adapt complex concepts into clear, audience-appropriate German content.
• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a hybrid work environment.
• Comfort with digital tools, office productivity software, and basic familiarity with AI-driven or technology-enabled services.
• Experience in banking, insurance, shared services, customer operations, or similar domains is an advantage.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in multicultural teams and interact professionally with international clients.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Languages, Communication, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
