Geographical Expansion Committee Member (County Representative)

Location: Remote, with a focus on designated regional areas in Pennsylvania

Time Commitment: Up to 10 hours per week

Overview: The Pennsylvania Doula Commission (PADC) seeks committed individuals to serve as County Representatives on the Geographical Expansion Committee. In this role, you will identify and mentor workforce champions, partners, and doulas within your designated region. You will work closely with these stakeholders to advance the careers of doulas and increase participation in PADC initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Identify and engage with regional workforce champions, partners, and doulas.

• Mentor and support doulas to advance their careers within the PADC framework.

• Collaborate with PADC leadership to align regional efforts with organizational goals.

• Promote PADC initiatives and increase regional participation.

• Manage and report on regional activities and outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Leadership: Proven ability to mentor and lead within a regional context.

• Organization: Strong organizational skills for managing regional outreach and mentorship.

• Communication: Excellent communication skills for engaging with regional stakeholders.

• Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with PADC leadership and regional partners.

• Project Management: Experience in overseeing projects from inception to completion.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
