Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a German Teacher at New Town School. The German Teacher will plan and deliver engaging online German language lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum and learning objectives for various grade levels. Responsibilities include preparing lesson plans and learning materials, conducting virtual classes, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining accurate records of student performance. The teacher will collaborate with other educators to integrate German language learning into broader educational activities, participate in online meetings and professional development, and support a positive, inclusive learning environment. The role also involves using digital tools and platforms to enhance language acquisition and facilitate interactive learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Language instruction skills in German Teaching, with strong proficiency in the German language and the ability to teach different levels.
• Core educational skills in Teaching and Education, including lesson planning, classroom management in a virtual setting, and student assessment.

<lisupport-focused skills in tutoring and training, with the ability to provide individualized support guide learners of varying abilities.

• Relevant academic background, such as a degree in German, Education, Linguistics, or a related field.
• Experience teaching German to school-age learners, preferably in online or blended learning environments.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students in a remote classroom.
• Comfort with educational technology, online learning platforms, and digital teaching tools.
