Title: Senior Quality Control Specialist

Pay Rate: $53.00/hr W2 only

Location: The schedule requires Tuesday–Thursday onsite, initially in Santa Monica during November, followed by some remote time before transitioning to Thousand Oaks.

Kite is seeking a Senior Quality Control Specialist (GILDJP00017340) for a contract through September 2027, supporting Product Quality through QC data analysis, analytical method monitoring, and technical reporting. Responsibilities include extracting data from LIMS, analyzing laboratory control and invalid-result trends, authoring quarterly and biannual trending reports and the laboratory section of Annual Product Reviews, supporting new methods and system capabilities, and coordinating continuous improvement across QC teams.

Candidates need pharmaceutical or biotechnology quality experience—a master’s degree plus 4+ years, bachelor’s plus 6+ years, or high school diploma plus 10+ years—along with proficiency in JMP and/or Minitab, GMP/GLP, and applicable regulatory requirements. Cell/gene therapy, biologics statistics, risk management, and inspection experience are preferred.
