Global Head of Compliance Projects. Greenwich CT-Hybrid position, requires 3 days per week in office and two days remote. (multiple positions).
Lead global compliance project initiatives, ensuring projects align with organizational objectives and international regulatory requirements; manage and coordinate compliance projects across various departments, driving efficiency and process improvements, including the integration of AI-powered solutions for surveillance and monitoring; implement and oversee AI-based generative tools to automate routine compliance tasks such as data gathering, reporting, and drafting responses; develop and standardize processes and procedures related to compliance, ensuring they integrate seamlessly with internal and proprietary systems, with focus on AI-driven efficiency gains; oversee the implementation of compliance-related systems and technologies, ensuring they meet the firm’s needs and regulatory standards; collaborate with key stakeholders to design and maintain a robust compliance framework that integrates AI-powered technologies and adheres to global standards, with a focus on European financial markets, ensuring automation of compliance workflows, risk assessments, and the early detection of non-compliance activities.
Salary: $240,000 to $260,000 per year. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance, Economics, Law, or Business, and 3 years (36 months) of experience in finance/compliance process development roles responsible for project management and implementation of global regulatory frameworks.
Must have 3 years of experience in: European financial markets regulation, including MiFID II (Markets in Financial Instruments Directive) and MAR (Market Abuse Regulation); managing compliance-related projects and process development projects related to global compliance operations; regulatory requirements related to Trade Surveillance and AML in global markets and trading across various products, including stocks, options, bonds, and futures; conducting compliance risk assessments, including identifying, assessing, and mitigating compliance risks in relation to internal processes and external regulatory requirements with global focus; experience with Atlassian Confluence/JIRA.
