Show job description

We are looking for a motivated, detail-oriented Global IT Project Manager to deliver technology projects across an international organisation. You will take ownership of projects from initial planning through to completion, helping teams stay aligned on scope, timelines, budgets and the outcomes that matter.

You will work closely with technology colleagues, business stakeholders and external suppliers to keep delivery moving. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating practical plans, solving problems early and keeping people informed without adding unnecessary process.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Build and maintain clear project plans covering scope, goals, milestones, deliverables, resources and timelines.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external suppliers to keep projects moving smoothly from initiation through to handover.
  • Track delivery against agreed scope, budget, timescales and quality expectations, taking action when plans need attention.
  • Give stakeholders and senior leaders clear, timely updates on progress, decisions, risks, issues and next steps.
  • Facilitate project meetings and presentations that help teams stay aligned and resolve priorities quickly.
  • Identify project risks early, develop practical mitigation plans and follow issues through to resolution.
  • Support effective resource planning, helping teams understand their roles, responsibilities and delivery commitments.
  • Make sure project deliverables meet agreed standards and are ready to be handed over successfully.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including plans, status reports, risk and issue logs, and post-project reviews.
  • Use lessons learned and feedback to improve the way future projects are planned and delivered.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

IT Project Delivery Experience

You have three to five years’ experience managing IT projects through the full delivery lifecycle, specifically the implementation of NetSuite platforms/modules. You are comfortable balancing scope, schedules, budgets and resourcing, and you know how to keep work moving when priorities change or challenges arise.

Planning and Risk Management

You can turn a broad objective into a clear, workable project plan. You are organised in how you manage milestones, dependencies, risks and issues, and can bring the right people together to find sensible solutions before small problems become bigger ones.

Stakeholder Communication

You communicate clearly and build positive working relationships with both technical and non-technical colleagues. You can present project information in a straightforward way, facilitate useful conversations and make sure everyone understands what is needed from them.

Technology and Delivery Tooling

You have a good understanding of IT systems, infrastructure and software-development processes. You are comfortable using project-management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira or Trello, and are familiar with Agile project-management approaches and practices.

A Practical, Collaborative Approach

You are proactive, adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment. You take ownership, pay attention to detail and enjoy being part of a team that is focused on delivering high-quality outcomes.

HELPFUL EXPERIENCE

  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Agile Certified Practitioner, Scrum Master or another relevant project-management qualification.
  • Experience coordinating delivery across internationally distributed teams, stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Additional European-language capability alongside English.

WHY JOIN PROJECT FOUNDRY

This is an opportunity to build your project-management experience in a global IT environment, working with a varied range of stakeholders and technology teams. You will have the space to take ownership of meaningful work, learn from experienced colleagues and help shape how technology projects are delivered.

The role offers flexible remote working, an international team environment and occasional travel where needed.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

If you are an IT Project Manager who enjoys bringing structure to delivery and helping teams achieve their goals, we would welcome your application. Please share a CV outlining your project-delivery experience, IT or technology background, use of project-management tools and experience with Agile ways of working.

Applicants will need existing work authorisation in Australia. English is essential; additional European-language capability is welcome.
