Essity is a leading global hygiene and healthcare company. We are committed to improving the quality of life through high-quality hygiene and healthcare solutions. We sell our products and solutions in around 150 countries under many strong brands, including the global market leaders TENA and Tork, as well as well-known brands such as Jobst, Leukoplast, Libero, Libresse, Lotus, Nosotras, Saba, Tempo, Vinda and Zewa.
About the Role
As Global Product Manager, you will shape a defined part of the global product agenda for Essity’s New Business B2C team within the Continence Care category. You will translate business strategy into clear portfolio priorities, drive market expansion and support sustainable growth across a selected range of food supplements and medical devices.
You will provide strategic direction across product, regulatory and commercial workstreams, aligning global and local stakeholders to ensure the portfolio is compliant, competitive and positioned to scale.
With a high degree of autonomy, you will drive complex portfolio decisions, balance growth opportunities and risk, and influence key stakeholders on portfolio investments, market entry and resource priorities.
What you will do
Portfolio Strategy, Governance & Performance
- Shape the global B2C portfolio strategy and roadmap, aligning it with Essity’s growth and financial priorities, and guide investment, launch, optimisation and discontinuation decisions across the product lifecycle.
- Drive consistent and compliant portfolio execution globally by ensuring effective regulatory and claims governance and setting standards for product information, specifications, packaging and master data.
- Turn consumer, market and financial insights into strategic portfolio choices, identifying opportunities, managing risks and advising senior leaders on portfolio direction, investment priorities and value creation.
Market Expansion & Commercial Readiness
- Drive B2C expansion into new markets, assessing opportunities and partnering with leadership on where and when to launch, while aligning priorities, timelines and resources with country managers.
- Ensure commercial and operational launch readiness across supply, logistics, fulfilment, customer service, pricing, marketplaces and channels, while coordinating relevant external partners and vendors.
- Build scalable launch processes and playbooks to enable faster, lower-risk market entries, track post-launch performance and proactively address compliance, operational and commercial risks.
Next-Generation Products & Services
- Act as a venture builder for new B2C opportunities, taking business models, concepts and products from idea to validation through consumer research, digital experiments, smoke testing and early marketing pilots.
- Shape and develop new products by translating consumer, market and regulatory needs into compelling concepts and specifications, and contribute to their testing, development and optimisation.
Who You Are
- Solid experience in global product management, portfolio strategy, commercialisation, innovation or venture building, ideally within consumer health, OTC, food supplements or medical devices.
- A proven track record of successfully shaping portfolio decisions, leading multi-country launches or delivering commercial results in an international environment.
- Strong understanding of the European regulatory landscape for supplements and medical devices, with the ability to balance growth, speed, quality and compliance.
- Skilled at bringing together functions, markets and external partners, building alignment, influencing stakeholders and constructively challenging decisions when needed.
- A combination of strategic and commercial thinking with a strong focus on execution, using consumer, market and financial insights to set priorities and guide investment decisions.
- Comfortable working in a complex matrix organisation while maintaining an entrepreneurial mindset, creating clarity, building trust and leading inclusively.
- Experience with D2C, e-commerce or subscription models, marketplaces or retail environments, product information and master data, or lean innovation approaches would be a strong advantage.
- Confident communication skills in English, with additional European languages considered an advantage, as well as openness to international travel to support key priorities, launches and partnerships.
