Founded by leaders with experience at Microsoft and the University of Cambridge, we created our Generative AI Academy to develop commercially sharp, client-ready AI consultants. The Role Following successful completion of the First AI Academy, you will join First AI as a Graduate Legal AI Consultant and: Work directly with enterprise clients deploying Microsoft Copilot Identify and scope high-impact AI use cases across business functions and legal-service environments Design and deliver training sessions, workshops and executive briefings Translate operational challenges into practical AI-enabled workflows Build agents using Copilot Studio and related tools Prototype and iterate AI solutions in live business environments Support behaviour change, stakeholder alignment and sustained adoption You may work with law firms, in-house legal teams and other non-legal organisations to support AI transformation, automation and adoption initiatives. This is a client-facing role. You will operate at the intersection of business, technology and change — not purely technical. What We Look For Strong interest in AI 2:1 degree or equivalent in Law, Legal Studies, or a closely related legal discipline Strong communication and presentation skills Interest in client-facing consulting roles, not purely technical positions Interest in the application of AI within legal services, professional services or regulated environments Comfort operating in fast-moving and emerging areas Willingness to work across UK locations if required Bonus points Internship or experience in legal, professional services or enterprise settings Independent experimentation with AI tools How you join First AI Entry into the firm begins with the First AI Academy, which serves as both a training programme and our selection process. It is free to attend and designed to equip you with in-demand business AI skills that are highly valued in today's job market. Following completion, full-time offers are made to those who meet the required standard. During the 6-week Academy, you will gain: Practical capability with Microsoft Copilot Foundations in agent building using Copilot Studio Business fundamentals Hands-on experience delivering a mini AI project and presenting at a Demo Day All participants who complete the Academy receive a First AI Certificate. Details Delivered primarily online Includes 2–3 in-person days in London (UK travel reimbursed) The Academy is unpaid Compensation £32,000 per year (£27,500 during first six months)
