About the organisation
Our client is a legal-technology/AI company built to transform how legal services are delivered and accessed. The organisation combines software innovation with deep legal expertise, creating solutions that drive efficiency and accessibility across the legal sector.
The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to progress from Sales Development Representative into a Sales Consultant role, leading your transition into consultative, relationship-driven selling. You will join our client at a moment of growth, working directly with the CEO and the wider team to build and nurture client relationships, represent the business at key industry events, and develop your understanding of how legal-tech solutions solve real law firm problems.
As Sales Consultant, you will move beyond initial lead generation into deeper client engagement. You will prospect proactively via telephone, develop relationships with potential customers, and follow up enquiries with a focus on understanding their needs and positioning solutions as a genuine fit. You will attend industry events and conferences, supporting the brand presence, gathering market intelligence, and opening doors to new conversations.
This role sits at the intersection of sales development and account management. You will work closely with the CEO and the wider team to ensure consistency in client communications, support campaign execution, and contribute to the organisation's growth. Your success will depend on your ability to build rapport, ask insightful questions, and represent them with confidence and authenticity.
Key responsibilities
- Prospect via telephone to identify and engage potential customers, building a pipeline of qualified opportunities for the business.
- Follow up leads and enquiries promptly and professionally, nurturing relationships through the early stages of the sales process.
- Attend industry events to support and promote the brand, engage with prospects and existing contacts, and gather insights into market needs and competitive activity.
- Support and engage with the wider team and other stakeholders, ensuring alignment on client communications and contributing to a collaborative sales environment.
About you
You have at least one year of sales experience and a proven track record of success in prospecting, lead follow-up, and client engagement. You are energised by relationship-building and comfortable with telephone-based outreach. Experience in legal technology or AI is not essential but is highly valued; if you have it, you will already understand the solutions our client delivers and the challenges clients face. You are curious, resilient, and keen to develop your sales skills in a growing organisation. You communicate clearly and professionally, and you take pride in representing your employer with integrity.
Working arrangements and package
This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Battersea. You will work in the office for two days per week. Annual salary: £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience and performance.
The role is available for immediate start.
