In this role, you will be responsible for creating commercially relevant licensed product designs across apparel, home décor, and lifestyle categories. Working closely with licensing, product development, and account management teams, you will transform IP asset packages, style guides, and brand assets into market-ready designs while ensuring compliance with licensor requirements. You will also support product launches through digital and marketing creative assets, helping drive brand growth, product success, and customer engagement. What you’ll do Design & Development Create visually appealing graphics and illustrations for licensed merchandise across apparel, home décor, and lifestyle product categories. Work from IP asset packages, style guides, and brand bibles to develop designs that are both on-brand and commercially relevant. Adapt and reformat licensed artwork for different product applications, ensuring compliance with licensor approval requirements. Prepare print-ready artwork files that meet technical specifications for manufacturing and retail. Campaign & Launch Support Produce creative assets to support product launches across digital channels including paid media, on-site banners, email templates, and landing page graphics. Assist in the delivery of marketing collateral for licensed brand campaigns, working to briefs from the Creative Lead and Brand team. Manage your own project workflow: track incoming requests, meet deadlines, and communicate progress clearly. Work closely with the Licensing, Account Management, and Product Development teams to ensure design output aligns with both commercial and IP requirements. Conduct ongoing research into fashion and lifestyle trends to inform design concepts and keep collections feeling current. What you’ll bring 2–3 years of professional graphic design and/or commercial illustration experience, ideally in-house within a licensing, merchandising, or consumer products environment. Demonstrable familiarity with licensed IP — experience working from licensor style guides, brand bibles, or approval-based workflows is a strong advantage. A strong portfolio demonstrating design sensibility across print-based product applications — apparel graphics, surface patterns, or lifestyle product design preferred. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator and Photoshop essential; InDesign a plus). Good understanding of print production requirements and file preparation for manufacturing. Ability to manage multiple briefs and deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-property environment. Strong communication skills and a collaborative, solutions-oriented attitude. Nice to have Familiarity with licensing workflows and the licensor approval process. Experience designing across more than one product category (e.g. apparel and home, or gift and accessories). An interest in pop culture, entertainment, or lifestyle brands.
