Role Description Greek Transcriptionists & QA Reviewers at DatoviaPlayHouse work on converting Greek audio and video content into accurate written text and reviewing transcripts for quality and consistency. Day-to-day tasks include listening to recorded material, transcribing spoken Greek into the appropriate format, verifying spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and ensuring adherence to project guidelines and style standards. QA Reviewers additionally perform detailed checks on completed transcripts, provide feedback to transcriptionists, and apply quality control measures to meet client and platform requirements. This is a remote, freelance contract role, offering flexible project-based work with the expectation of meeting deadlines and maintaining high accuracy standards.
Qualifications

• Strong Greek language proficiency, with excellent spelling, grammar, and punctuation skills, and good comprehension of different accents and speech patterns.
• Experience in transcription, including audio/video typing, use of transcription tools or foot pedals, and familiarity with transcript formatting and style guidelines.
• Quality assurance and review skills, such as attention to detail, ability to spot inconsistencies or errors, and experience applying standardized QA checklists or criteria.
• Technical and digital literacy, including the ability to work with online platforms, file-sharing tools, and productivity or collaboration software in a remote environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects, meet turnaround times, and work independently without close supervision.
• Professional communication skills in Greek and English, enabling clear written feedback, adherence to instructions, and effective collaboration with project managers.
• Prior experience in transcription, localization, or content QA, especially for Greek language projects, is preferred but not strictly required.
• Access to a reliable computer, stable internet connection, and a quiet workspace suitable for focused listening and accurate transcription.
