Group Accountant

Barden is delighted to partner with a well-established international group as they look to hire a Group Financial Accountant. This is a permanent role in a high-calibre group finance function, offering real visibility with Board and senior management.

You will own the monthly management accounts for a number of group entities, support the consolidation and annual reporting cycle, and help the team improve how it reports. It is a broad role with plenty of exposure across a multi-country business.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Prepare monthly management accounts and reporting packs for a number of group entities.
• Analyse variances and manage trial balances, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany reconciliations.
• Produce the monthly flash results and weekly sales analysis.
• Support budgets, quarterly forecasts, and cash-flow monitoring.
• Assist with interim results, final results, and the annual report.
• Work with business units across several countries and keep improving reporting processes.

ABOUT THE PERSON

• Qualified accountant (ACA) with a strong academic background.
• Minimum 1 year PQE within industry.
• Advanced Excel, including pivots, with Power BI a bonus.
• Exposure to ERP and consolidation systems is an advantage.
• Commercial, detail-focused, and comfortable working to tight deadlines.
