Group Financial Accountant - Dublin City Centre

Barden are delighted to be engaged by a privately owned Irish investment group in Dublin city centre, to hire a Group Financial Accountant to join their growing finance team.

With a market-leading package, and flexible hybrid working, it is a role worth getting curious about, for a qualified accountant with 1-4 years PQE, who is ambitious and looking to move into an exciting company, known for its good culture.

The role would be very well suited to someone coming from an outsourced accounting team (FAAS or similar).

ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Owning the financial accounting for a portfolio of group entities across a range of sectors;
• Preparing monthly management accounts and reporting packs, with variance analysis and commentary;
• Preparing statutory financial statements under FRS 102, and running the annual audit;
• Maintaining intercompany reconciliations, loan schedules, and consolidation workings across a large multi-entity group;
• Co-ordinating tax compliance and statutory filings with external advisers;
• Supporting live transactions, investor reporting, and new finance system implementation projects.

ABOUT THE PERSON:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA), with 1-4 years PQE;
• Top 10 practice trained with experience across a variety of client industries;
• A self-starter;
• Advanced excel skills;
• A strong communicator.
