Role Description The Group Data Governance Manager is a full-time role responsible for establishing and overseeing data governance standards and frameworks across Swisspearl Group. Based in Gdańsk in a hybrid setup, the role combines on-site collaboration with flexibility for some work from home. Day-to-day responsibilities include defining data ownership and stewardship, developing policies and procedures for data usage, and coordinating master data management activities across business units. The role also involves monitoring data quality, leading improvement initiatives, and working with stakeholders to align data management practices with business and regulatory requirements. The Group Data Governance Manager will collaborate with IT, finance, operations, and other functions to ensure data is accurate, consistent, secure, and supports informed decision-making.

Qualifications

  • Own Data Governance and Master Data Quality within your business domain
  • Define and maintain data standards, business rules and governance principles
  • Drive data quality improvements and coordinate data cleansing initiatives
  • Evaluate and prioritize data and template enhancement requests
  • Partner with business stakeholders, Data Specialists, Super Users and IT teams
  • Support reporting, analytics and AI-related initiatives through reliable data structures
  • Promote data ownership and governance best practices across the organization
  • Ensure compliance with group-wide standards and governance frameworks
  • Lead and develop a team of Data Specialists
  • Project management skills
