Group Operations Manager

Strategic Management Team | Senior leadership appointment | Full-time | Remote, Pakistan

HSPG, through Global Teams (a Smail Group company), is recruiting an exceptional Group Operations Manager for an established industry partner with growing interests across property, construction, investment and associated businesses. This is a senior management appointment with a seat at the strategic management table. We are seeking a commercially aware leader who can shape group-wide operational performance, build scalable systems and turn ambitious strategy into measurable results.

THE MANDATE

Work alongside senior leadership to create a coherent operating model across multiple businesses. You will own operational effectiveness, management cadence, accountability and continuous improvement, while preserving the speed and initiative of a growing entrepreneurial group.

STRATEGIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Translate group strategy into operating priorities, clear ownership, delivery plans and measurable outcomes.

• Design and improve the group operating model, including decision rights, escalation paths and cross-business coordination.

• Lead operational performance reviews and establish meaningful KPIs, management dashboards and reporting rhythms.

• Identify structural inefficiencies, delivery risks and resource gaps; propose and implement commercially sound solutions.

• Drive accountability among managers and operational teams for commitments, deadlines and outcomes.

• Lead process transformation, SOP frameworks and adoption of scalable business systems.

• Partner with senior leaders on workforce planning, organisational design and operational capacity as the group grows.

• Improve collaboration across functions including property, construction, finance, technology and people

operations.

• Champion the effective use of Asana, Slack, reporting systems and workflow automation where appropriate.

• Lead and develop operational team members; build a high-performance, ownership-led culture.

THE CANDIDATE

• Significant proven experience at Operations Manager, Senior Operations Manager, Head of Operations or comparable level.

• A track record of managing complex, cross-functional operations and influencing senior leadership decisions.

• Experience creating operational frameworks and delivering demonstrable improvements in business

performance.

• Excellent commercial judgement, systems thinking, problem-solving and people leadership.

• Strong experience with KPIs, management reporting, change implementation and accountability structures.

• Business Administration, Management or related degree; MBA or relevant postgraduate qualification highly desirable.

• Experience in a major professional-services firm, BIG4, multinational or high-performance corporate group highly desirable.

• Exceptional written and spoken business English and confidence working with senior UK/Ireland stakeholders.

AI & DIGITAL LEADERSHIP

You must be an accomplished user of AI and forward-facing technologies, able to demonstrate tangible results from applying them to management reporting, analysis, process improvement, knowledge management or workflow automation. We expect strategic judgement about where automation adds value and where human oversight remains

essential.

WORKING ARRANGEMENTS

Full-time, 40 hours per week. Remote from Pakistan, with substantial overlap with UK/Ireland business hours. Senior- management remuneration competitive and dependent on track record.
