Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Group Technical Architect / SAP Fiori Consultant to lead the design, development, and implementation of modern SAP Fiori applications across S/4HANA and SAP BTP environments. This role requires deep technical expertise in SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, OData services, and SAP Gateway, along with strong architectural vision to guide scalable, secure, and high-performance application solutions. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with functional teams, ensure best-practice adherence, and drive innovation across UX, performance optimization, and cloud deployment strategies.
Responsibilities
Design and develop SAP Fiori applications using SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, CDS views, and modern UX standards.
Build and configure SAP Fiori Launchpad including Spaces/Pages, catalogs, groups, tiles, and target mappings.
Develop OData services via SAP Gateway, ABAP, and SAP BTP RAP (Node.js/Java).
Configure and deploy apps on SAP S/4HANA and SAP BTP (Cloud Foundry/Kyma) environments.
Implement performance optimizations such as lazy loading, model binding efficiency, caching, and batch requests.
Ensure strong application security via PFCG roles, XSUAA, OAuth2, and principal propagation.
Manage CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and transport processes (CTS+, gCTS).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions aligned with business needs.
Perform unit testing and debugging using OPA5/QUnit and maintain high code quality.
Provide architectural guidance, mentoring, and governance across project teams.
Required Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with SAPUI5, SAP Fiori, Fiori Elements, and SAP BTP.
Expertise in OData services, SAP Gateway, CDS Views, and ABAP or RAP.
Experience configuring and deploying Fiori apps in S/4HANA and BTP environments.
Proficiency in SAP Fiori Launchpad configuration and UX design guidelines.
Strong understanding of security, roles, authentication, and authorization frameworks.
Experience with CI/CD automation, Git, transport frameworks, and code quality tools.
Excellent communication, architectural leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
