*This role is based in our South Austin HQ. The team works in the office Monday–Thursday, with the option to work remotely on Fridays.

Made In makes professional-grade cookware, knives, and tableware for home cooks and the chefs who run the best restaurants in the world. We are in more than 2,000 restaurants, including Michelin-starred kitchens, and we sell direct to consumers through our own site. We are headquartered in Austin, Texas.

About the Role

We are hiring a growth marketer who can run the whole board. You will own outcomes across paid media, measurement, and the parts of CRM that move revenue, working directly with the Head of Growth on an 8-figure annual budget. This is not a channel-specialist seat. On a given Tuesday you might restructure a Performance Max campaign, rebuild a Meta account around reach, rework the audience for a sale email, and walk leadership through why the month is pacing where it is.

The right person is a generalist with real depth in Google and Meta, a skeptic about attribution, and someone who already uses AI to do in an hour what used to take a week.

What You'll Own

  • Google and Meta, hands on. Strategy and execution across Search, Shopping, Performance Max, Demand Gen and YouTube, and across Meta prospecting and retargeting. Account structure, bidding, budget allocation, feed and creative inputs. You make the changes yourself and you know why each one should work.
  • Pacing, forecasting and the weekly read. Daily pacing against forecast and plan, month-to-date and week-over-last-year reads, and a clear story of what moved and why. You run the weekly media strategy meeting with a scorecard leadership trusts.
  • Measurement that drives budget. Design and read geo holdouts and lift tests, work with our MMM partner, and reconcile platform ROAS, GA4 and incrementality into one decision. You know which number to trust for which question, and you say so.
  • Reach and creative. Plan paid social around audience reach and saturation, not just ROAS. Partner with creative strategists on briefs and read creative fatigue before it shows up in CPA.
  • Emerging channels. Run phase-gated tests on TikTok, AppLovin, CTV, audio and direct mail with explicit scale, hold and kill rules. Most new channels should earn their way in; some should be turned off.
  • CRM where it matters. Work in Klaviyo and Attentive alongside our retention team and agency on audiences, suppression, send economics and sale-event calendars. You can judge whether a send was worth the unsubscribes it cost.
  • Sale events end to end. Plan and run our tentpoles (BFCM, Seconds sales, product launches): forecast, budget ramp, pre-flight checks, launch-day monitoring, post-mortem.
  • Agencies and partners. Hold agencies and platform reps to a clear brief and a clear scorecard. Push back on a proposal when the math does not support it.
  • Build the machine. Use AI tools and light scripting to automate reporting, QA, bulk uploads and analysis. We build our own internal tools; you will help shape them.

What Good Looks Like in the First 90 Days

  • 30 days: you own the weekly pacing read and can explain any line of it without notes.
  • 60 days: you have shipped at least one structural change in Google or Meta with a pre-registered success metric, and one channel test with a written verdict.
  • 90 days: you are running a sale event or launch end to end, and the Head of Growth is no longer the bottleneck on day-to-day channel decisions.

About You

  • 5 to 8+ years in performance or growth marketing, mostly at DTC e-commerce brands. Director candidates bring experience owning a 7 or 8 figure budget and a P&L-level number.
  • Deep, recent, hands-on time in Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager. You can still build a campaign yourself.
  • Working fluency in Klaviyo or a similar ESP. SMS (Attentive or Postscript) is a plus.
  • Measurement literacy beyond last click: attribution windows, view-through, geo holdouts, MMM, and why they disagree.
  • Strong analytical skills. Advanced Sheets is required; SQL, BigQuery or a BI tool is a strong plus.
  • You use AI tools daily for real work, and you can show something you built or automated.
  • You write clearly. Your Slack updates and docs can stand in for a meeting.
  • You are comfortable being the most senior channel person in the room and also the one doing the work.

Nice to Have

  • CTV, audio, AppLovin or direct mail buying experience
  • Premium or considered-purchase category experience (home, kitchen, durable goods)
  • Experience running BFCM at a brand with real seasonality
  • Comfort with Python, Apps Script, or AI coding tools

How We Work

  • Numbers first. We compare like with like, we show deltas as percent change, and we do not ship a projection we have not checked against actuals.
  • Cause, why, action. Every finding comes with the cause, the reason we believe it, and what we do next.
  • Fast tests, honest reads. A good test this week beats a perfect one next quarter, and a dud gets called a dud.
  • Low ego, high ownership. You flag your own misses first and arrive with the fix.

*Location

Austin, Texas: four in-office days at our HQ. Exceptional remote candidates in US Central or Eastern time will be considered.

Benefits We Offer

  • Competitive salary, 401k, healthcare benefits (including fertility and family-building care, mental health therapy, telemedicine virtual health access along with HSA and FSA plans) and free and discounted cookware
  • A people-centric workplace with flexible time off
  • A vibrant, lively office space in the heart of South Austin which includes our onsite studio kitchen
