ABOUT US

Pliant is a modular B2B payments platform that combines commercial card issuing, payment accounts, FX, and spend management in one system — adapting to existing setups rather than requiring customers to replace them.

Businesses across industries such as travel, e-commerce, and insurance use Pliant to manage complex payment workflows with cards, backed by credit lines Pliant underwrites itself.

Fintechs and software platforms embed Pliant's payment infrastructure into their own products, from API-based Cards-as-a-Service to fully white-label solutions. Banks use Pliant's Card & Spend OS, the customer-facing interface, on their own infrastructure to run card programs.

Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Berlin, Pliant serves 5,000+ businesses and 40+ partners across Europe and the United States. A principal member of Visa and Mastercard, Pliant issues commercial cards in 13 currencies across 32 countries — under its own European e-money license and with licensed partners in the UK and US.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We're hiring a Growth Operations Analyst (m/f/d) to help run the engine behind Pliant's US outbound motion.

You'll report to our Growth Associate, who leads outbound strategy for the US Sales team and works closely with our global Growth teams: Outbound Ops, Sales Enablement, RevOps, and our AI Unit. The role sits within the Growth organization, led by our VP of Growth.

This is a foundational operations role on the US team, built to scale alongside it. You'll start by owning the day-to-day work that keeps outbound running: building and cleaning lead lists, keeping CRM and sequence data accurate, and producing the reporting sales leadership uses every week. Over time, you'll take ownership of outbound hygiene for our BDRs, and then extend that to our Account Executives. The role is designed to grow from execution into owning outbound operations.

Our main focus is Direct Sales and Travel. Because we're growing fast, expect the scope to move into adjacent areas, such as Insurance and event-driven campaigns, as priorities shift.

This is a hybrid role, with a preference for candidates based in New York City. After 6 months, based on performance, you'll have the option to go fully remote.

You'll get close mentorship from your manager, exposure to our VP of Growth, US sales leadership, and our global Sales Enablement, RevOps, and AI teams, and the chance to travel to our Berlin headquarters to ramp up alongside our global Growth teams.

Compensation: $75,000–$110,000 OTE, depending on experience

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Build, enrich, and qualify target account and contact lists for outbound campaigns and industry conferences

  • Score and segment accounts against our ideal customer profile so BDRs spend their time on the right companies

  • Keep lists deduplicated and consistent with what's already in the CRM

  • Monitor sequence enrollment, bounces, opt-outs, and activity logging, and fix data gaps such as missing owners, stale contacts, and incorrect lifecycle or deal stages

  • Over time, extend outbound hygiene from BDRs to AE pipeline hygiene, including next steps, close dates, and stage accuracy

  • Own the data behind our weekly US sales reporting, including activity, pipeline, and outbound performance, and turn recurring questions into repeatable reports

  • Document the workflows you own so they're repeatable and easy to hand off, and help roll out and administer new tools, such as dialers and sequencing platforms

  • Run and improve AI-powered workflows, and work with our AI Unit to automate the repetitive parts of the job

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales or revenue operations, business operations, consulting, finance, or a fast-paced startup

  • Comfort working in spreadsheets and CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar), plus a natural instinct to check whether a number looks right

  • Strong attention to detail and a high bar for data quality

  • Ownership: when you see a gap, you close it, and you know when to flag a judgment call instead of guessing

  • Coachability: you welcome direct, fast feedback and act on it quickly

  • Clear written and verbal communication, and comfort working with sales leaders and reps

  • Curiosity about AI and automation. Experience with tools like Clay, Amplemarket, or Claude is a plus, but not required

  • We're also open to candidates with more experience, including those moving from investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance into an operating role. What matters most is maturity, follow-through, and hunger to learn, not years on a resume

WHAT WE OFFER

  • The opportunity to work in a growing team with big responsibilities that thrives on a strong exchange of knowledge and excellence

  • Attractive remuneration

  • Your choice of preferred OS, Windows or Mac

  • Flat hierarchy and transparent communication in a relaxed, professional atmosphere

  • Opportunity to develop your talent in a dynamic team with ambitious goals

  • Flexibility and possibility to work remotely

  • Pliant Card with monthly credit to explore the product and enjoy food with colleagues
