[Hanoi] Automation Tester (Hybrid Working)

Responsibilities:

• Analyze requirements and work with Developers and the Product Owner to clarify business logic and define test scope.
• Design test scenarios and test cases; run functional, API, integration, and regression tests.
• Build, maintain, and improve automation tests, using the project's shared libraries.
• Test login and access control flows with Keycloak/OAuth, and email flows via SMTP.
• Write, run, and analyze performance tests with k6/JavaScript.
• Prepare and manage test data; query and verify data in SQL Server.
• Run automation tests on Azure DevOps; use YAML/PowerShell to support pipelines and test tasks.
• Test on Azure/Kubernetes environments; read application logs (including NLog) to investigate bugs.
• Log, track, and verify bugs; report test results and keep QA documents up to date.

Job Requirements:

Must-have

• Hands-on experience writing automation tests in Playwright + TypeScript + CICD (prefer Azure DevOps).
• Able to write and maintain tests in an existing framework; understands assertions, setup/teardown, and parameterized tests.
• Experience with API, integration, and regression testing.
• Experience testing SMTP email flows: checking content, recipients, and basic error cases.
• Able to write SQL queries to prepare and check test data.
• Understands CI/CD; able to run automation tests and analyze failures in pipelines.
• Able to read and edit basic YAML configs.
• Able to read application logs to help investigate bugs.
• Good English: able to clarify requirements, discuss work, and report bugs directly with international teams.
• Proactive, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Experience with C# with NUnit
• Experience building and running performance tests with k6/JavaScript; able to read basic metrics like response time, throughput, and error rate.
• Uses PowerShell to support automation.
• Basic knowledge of Azure, Kubernetes, and Linux.
• Experience analyzing NLog logs.
• Experience testing Keycloak/OAuth login and access flows, including invalid tokens, expired tokens, and missing permissions.
